I am amazed at all the 5* reviews. This machine is awful! The bread is soggy, the filling has to be dry for this to work and takes forever to cook. It burns in the middle where the machine seals the toastie yet the bread takes forever to cook and brown. I cant understand the great reviews for this appliance! Perhaps I have a lemon....But for me its horrible! Waste of money....will be throwing out!

I wasn't happy at the beginning when I first used them as It wasn't brown and it was soft in the middle. However, I have leant some trick as this sandwich maker have designed for big fill. So I have put the big fill and the result was amazing. It does exactly as it said it would do and the sandwiches were delicious. The sandwich were brown and crust. Easy to use and easy to clean. I would give 4.5 stars if I could. Only down side is this sandwich maker don't have the place to keep the cord tidy.

It's a great jaffler, the down sides I found is it really is made for big fill, the bread itself needs to be large, if you don't fill it enough you have to wait longer for the bread to crisp. With normal size bread it often leaks out into the grooves (bit hard to clean to)But am still using it and they are yummy

I bought this because I wanted a larger capacity jaffle maker. Unfortunately I found it lacking for several reasons including: the boarder is very, very thick and subsequently the actual area for food is small, in fact it's smaller than my old "normal" sized jaffle maker. Cleaning is a pain as the non-stick surface isn't great. I passed my concerns on to Bing Lee who weren't interested in helping me and told me to contact Sunbeam. That's the last thing I buy from Bing Lee!

Looks good on the kitchen bench but doesnt take up too much room which is important if you dont have a lot of bench space . Deep dishes hold a good amount of filling for your choice of sandwich. Easy to use and clean, just wipe with a damp cloth after use . This small appliance gets a lot of use in my house!! A delicious toastie + a cup of soup. a quick and nourishing meal on these cool evenings !! It gets my recommendation!!
This is a very good toastie maker. I brought the (2) toastie. Heats quickly. Fits toast bread the best. Cuts sandwiches in half on the diagonal. Seals sandwich well. I am very pleased with it. And I think good value for money. I purchased from mitre 10. So good I got the bigger (4) size for my son and his family.
