I purchased this to replace cheaper electric heat packs that weren't lasting long and it is a life saver. So comfy and great temperature options!I use this mainly for my cramps and muscle pain. It is a lil big but it's easy enough to fold slightly and move around to use just for my lower abdomen. I love that it switches off after 3 hours so I can fall asleep with it worry free.

Works fine, but even the "1" level is too hot to put under your neck or shoulders or back. I don't understand with 6 settings why they couldn't make the lowest setting a "warm" setting. It's fine if you put the heating pad on top of your body, but many people don't do that. They need to put it under a body part. If you do that it gets to be unbearably hot after just a few minutes. I get around this deficiency by putting a towel over it, but that tends to slide around as you move. I recommend it only with the reservation that you don't intend to put it under a part of your body.
This is a wonderful sized heat-pad. It heats up fast and offers 5 adjustable heat settings. I find that I generally only use heat setting on number 1. I am extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend them to anyone wishing to have fast, reliable heat.
I ordered this product from Myer as it was recommended to me. I am more than happy with this Sunbeam heating pad, as it is portable, warms up in seconds, and most importantly for safety, switches off automatically, (has 5 heatings) should one doze off as it’s so cosy! It’s also useful for quickly warming a spot on a bed or couch and of course, lasts longer than a wheat bag! Love it!
I discovered this a couple of weeks ago after suffering for weeks previously with a neck/upper back injury which caused pain down my arm too. I had been trying to apply heat to my neck back and arm with hot water bottles and wheat packs. I then discovered this Heating pad and almost bought the regular size but I am so glad I purchased the XL. I have been able to apply a really good amount of heat on Setting 5 and it covers and is malleable enough to wrap around large or multiple areas to provide excellent relief. Highly recommend
I bought this to relieve the pain of a sore back. It did a fantastic job and I suggested my wife try it for her stiff shoulder. She loved it so much I had to buy a second one. Sunbeam is a brand that I have trusted for 30 years, their product quality and attention to design have never failed.
My wife has terminal cancer and suffers from back pain with abdominal cramping. Wheat bags and hot water bottles eased the discomfort, but required constant reheating.The large heating pad fits under the bed sheet and targets the area with out over heating the rest of her body. There are 5 heat setting to select from easing the discomfort. Highly recommended the heat pad , there is a smaller version mof if you need some sort heat treatment for pain relief.
A very good product. Absolutely Awesome. Has helped with my Arthritis and cancer. Has allowed me to get around better. I find setting one the lowest the best for me most of the time as I am a hot blooded people . My wife finds set 3 better for her.
