I bought this for travelling. I tend to get a bit sicky due to aircon vents. Its compact, nice and quiet, soft light. usb rechargeable. Ive also used it, when cooking, gets rid of the smell. Better than lighting up the scented candle

Breathe in clean, fresh air

The Sunbeam On-The-Go Fresh (SAP0800WH) is my latest air purifier addition from Sunbeam's family of air purifiers. I suffer terribly with sinus so this little guy is a game changer for me as I can now take one with me when we travel - it's a game changer! As it is so small I even packed it and took it away on a motorbike trip!!! I also use it on the desk in our office while working from home. When we travel sometimes hotel/motel rooms can feel a bit dusty, or smell a bit musty, so I make sure I've got my On-The-Go Fresh with me and sleep with it on, I really notice the difference waking up, no stuffy nose for me anymore! I've only owned it since beginning September so I haven't had to change the filter yet. It's super quiet and I love the sleek design.

Does not disappoint

Whisper quiet, super portable and excellent battery life. This was an worthwhile purchase for peace-of-mind when travelling to unfamiliar places in which your ventilation options are uncertain and you want protection in addition to what’s afforded by a quality mask.

Great looking little unit!

The Sunbeam air purifier SAP0800WH is a great looking little unit. Very portable and convenient to use at your desk, in your car etc. I like the light which tells you the air quality. The filter is easy to access and replace and the product is easy and simple to use. The UV light feature to kill germs is also a great addition.

Has stopped working

Bought it for my girls as they have sinus issues. Kept in a safe place away from them. Have had it for 2 months and it has just stopped working. Filter still new even bought a replacement filter tried that but the unit does not work anymore. Left it to charge hours before attempting again yet still not functioning. Extremely disappointed .

How long it takes to recharge fully?

I sent email enquiries about it to sunbeam customer service they reply it takes an hour to recharge fully but when I recharged about 1.5 hours only last short period of time. When I recharged overnight it last long enough to keep it on for a few hours. but I want to know how long it takes to fully charged.

Love the air you breathe

This product is light weight, quiet & really works. The rechargable/cordless power supply is definitely one of my favourite features. I recently moved into a newly renovated apartment that had an over whelming new paint smell. Having recently purchased the Sunbeam on the go air purifier, I couldn’t wait to give it the big test. The difference was amazing. As it so compact I was able to move it from room to room as I unpacked. It made a huge difference to the smell & it was so great to know we were breathing clean air. It’s so streamlined it looks great where ever I put it.

Portable rocket!

The Sunbeam air purifier, is a portable rocket! It ticks all the boxes for me. I love that it’s easy to use, portable and good quality. I often move the air purifier with me around the house whether that be in the lounge room watching tv or in my bedroom at night. I have noticed sleeping with the air purifier on at night my nose isn’t as stuffy and I feel more refreshed in the morning.

Pure air, wherever you are

Super quiet and compact unit. Very easy to operate and the battery is good. We have a few allergies in the house, so it's good to be able to use this often in any room. Haven't had to change the filter yet, but its very easy to access and check condition. Good stuff!

Works great as a fan, but not for virus mitigation

I bought this in Decemeber for virus mitigation and what I can tell you: it will not reach the desired CADR to mix the air effectively to reduce your risk. I queried with Sunbeam and the CADR is only 10cfm, or 16m3/hr and Sunbeam claims up to spaces 10m2. db(A) is 43db(A) on high fan speed. Don't get me wrong, I was really excited at a portable option in Ao/NZ, but the effectiveness for this air purifier in terms of virus mitigation leaves a lot to be desired. The PROS: 1) works FANTASTIC as an overnight fan. I can keep my windows closed and avoid bugs, whilst keeping the overnight temp comfortable and avoiding stuffiness. I've only needed to use it on the low setting for overnight so fan. Sunbeam says it's a 5200mAh battery chargeable by USB-C (this isn't listed so I had to find out which is pretty slack of Sunbeam) and lasts about 2 overnights on low fan speed. 3) portable and great for travel, you can take this in checked in luggage. The CONS: 1) doesn't do much at all in terms of covid/virus mitigation. 2) when grabbing the unit it's very easy to put a finger over the power button and turn it on accidentally. 3) kinda pricey for a unit that isn't exactly powerful. Get a Midea instead if your goal is clean air for mitigation. 4) IDK where the UV light is so can't comment on that
