Used only occasionally for frozen margaritas. First one was excellent at crushing all the ice, but the black plastic faster between motor and jug broke after several uses. In good faith thought it was likely a random fault, and bought another. 2nd one not used before been stored, recently got it out for the occasional treat drink - used only once and the same piece broke. The second one also didn't crush all ice, leaving about 5 big half cubes if ice. Been well past the warranty before use there's no warranty. So another substandard product into landfill and a very expensive single drink!

It can be cleaned nicely and affectivly as the rubber lifts out. This is most important, otherwise you can get sick if that rubber cant be cleaned underneath. Gailardia is the sickness. I will be looking around for something a bit tighter in weight.

I bought in January 2021then in October 2021it stopped spinning the blades. I called Sunbeam and I tried to buy a replacement part, a plastic cog which connects the blades to the main spindle. Not in stock. The Sunbeam fellow was very nice and apologetic. I took it back to the retail shop and chose another Sunbeam blender with a metal piece rather than a plastic piece, though more expensive.I just hope this doesn't break too. I'm disappointed for a few reasons, the main one is this, not being able to buy the cog meant the blender will go into land fill. Our world is swimming in appliances that can't be repaired.

I bought the sunbeam self clean blender PBT3000BK and used it about to 10 times. I don’t have my receipt so cannot claim warranty. The motor works well but there is a cheap plastic piece on the motor that connects it to the jug. This failed and they do not sell replacement parts.
A great blender. I am so happy with my purchase. Its not too big and it does the work for my smoothies and dips. Plus it is reasonably priced. I will recommend this to anyone. Love that it is glass as you dont want to use plastic containers when you are blending your food.
This is a great blender, for the sorry time it will last you. The functions are great, is reasonably powerful. However the cheap plastic parts let it down. It seems I'm not the only one to experience this issue. The lower clutch assembly, that links the jug blades to the motor, has cover of the spindle and now the whole blender is rendered useless. And after a concerted effort trying to source a spare part to fix it, it seems that the part in question had been discontinued and not replaced. The tragedy of a good machine being let down by inferior parts.... Again...
I bought this blender about 2 weeks ago, managed to make 7 smoothies and broke on the 8th. Seems like a lot of people here experienced the same problem and that is about the plastic 6-blade that connects to the rotor. Clearly this plastic is not strong enough on this machine. I think if it just to spin by itself it will wear after a while due to heat, let alone crushing ice and other stuff. I used to believe in Sunbeam but not anymore. I tried to order a new piece on-line but can't seem to find it. I think Sunbeam should re-design and send us new piece made from different material rather than soft plastics. Useless machine.
First time having this type of blender and I love it! Usually just get a handheld stick blender but I love the way you can just set the option (eg smoothie) and it does it for you. The self-wash feature is great also, finally my teenager has to wash something. Lots of power too.
Have had my blender for a few years and very happy with it. However, yesterday it malfunctioned. The small black plastic part that goes between the unit and the blender jug has failed. I see from previous reviews below that this is a common problem. I also read that Sunbeam do not have a replacement part. There is nothing else wrong with this blender. This small plastic part renders the blender useless. This must be a manufacturer problem with the blender. What is Sunbeam going to do to fix this for me?
We used this blender twice. We bought it brand new off the shelf. Harvey Norman said because it was the last one and off the floor they wouldn't warranty it. We can now see why. It leaked everywhere on both occasions creating a huge mess. What kind of rubbish is this? I thought Sunbeam was a good, trustworthy product. Now, I don't believe so any more.
