By far the best ironing board I've ever owned. It's sturdy and well-constructed, all the bits work as expected, it stays locked in any required position, and the wheels make it really easy to move. I've always hated ironing. Hate it a bit less now.

Nice Ironing board but an annoying flaw in the design of it as the board pops in and out when being ironed on. and makes a popping noise. Also, the heat goes through to the underside. It is ok but I doubt whether it would last ten years like my old one. Worth a purchase but not worth the price. Wheels are handy.

My last sunbeam ironing board lasted me for years and only broke with our Housesitters!! I find it a good heavy duty board and thats why I decided to buy the same. The new one though has a creek when ironing which is a bit annoying but hopefully over time that might subside.
I only give two stars, because the cover wasn't the same blue/white when I picked up the pre purchased ,fully paid for ironing board. That was one of the reason I wanted this ironing board. I wrote and complained about it, but had no respond from anyone. I just can't trust Myer anymore.
Very sturdy with smooth lever action to open and close. Quality components. Please note this is very large and will require a storage space with extra height to accommodate the board when in folded down position. It is a little heavy but not enough to prevent purchase. I am small and have arthritis and still manage this board fine on my own. Just be sensible, use the wheels when you can and store somewhere easy to access without needing to lift. I store mine in a cupboard under the stairs. This board fully extends taller than my last standard board and I find it much better for my back.
Wow where to start. Absolutely fab. Omg folding is amazing. Couldn't get a more better ironing board that I have brought 2 for my son's... They're that simple, quick and easy to use.Go do yourself a favour and grab one
This board is nice and wide, making it super easy for most garments to be ironed. Easy to wheel while in its vertical position from the laundry to the living room where I do my ironing. The height adjustment feature is sturdy unlike in previous boards I've used.
I purchased this a month or so ago after having come from a built in ironing board which was so handy. I did a lot of searching and if I could have found a second hand Fraser one which all my friends have had for years and are excellent I would have. I decided on this as it seemed to be stable with the two front legs and is wider. It is slightly heavy to move as I won’t wheel it across my highly polished floor boards but it’s manageable. It’s nice and wide. It needs a far better cloth top, it’s very thin and moves lot. Also,I would have expected that an inspection or pre sale look at it would have been done. It came with a very big greasy black mark across the cotton ironing pad which needed to be cleaned with a wash before use. I selected this ironing board on reading about it online and liking the sound of it. I also have always been keen on Sunbeam products. My one concern is that with a bad back the ironing board is very heavy to set up and then put down again (I keep it in my laundry so it needs to be folded up each time). I do appreciate that this means it will probably last much longer. Oh to be younger and stronger!
