Purchased 6 months ago relying on the Sunbeam Brand.Initially it is great, as represented in most review, but as soon as you need to get it "Hot" for something like meat, the surface burns and starts to deteriorate. It is now the worst possible product to cook anything in. Surface is all stained and absolutely everything sticks. Complained to Sunbeam and all they say is Take it back within the 12 month warranty. Seems they are aware of the problem and really don't care.This is a garbage product from what was a reputable brand.

The ceramic surface heats quickly and has very low adhesion a small amount of water is all that is required to cook vegetables in a very healthy way. The white surface makes it easy to check for cleaning. The ceramic surface is very slick and low in toxins. Excellent thing.

I brought this as I wanted to avoid the flaking off that occurs after longterm use of other frypans and I have no idea how this will live up to this expectation but I'm hopeful. I did burn something in it and trying to remove the burnt food without resorting to hard scrubbing was not easy. In the end I left it there as I would rather have a burnt food mark then a scratched service. The light colour means you can see every mark. It heats up fast and does the job. I brought it because of its size and weight as I needed to travel with it. Recommend

This is the best pan for making an omelet . It will get a burn ring when used for other things and then every thing sticks . I learnt the hard way ., so ive brought a second one just for eggs .
I bought this at Harvey Norman in Port Lincoln while on holidays in the caravan. It is a perfect size and weight and cooks very well (although stains a bit) but it had a strange "chemical" smell when I first turned it on. It stil has that smell but not as strong and it disppears after a while. Food started sticking badly but I have "seasoned" it on occasion now and that has improved a bit. Overall, it's a good little skillet but that smell does worry me.
Great little skillet, heats and cooks in no time so it doesn't have to run for very long or use much electricity. And so easy to clean as well. Only criticism I have is: why no glass lid as with other Sunbeam frypans for example? You have to lift it, thereby letting heat escape, to check what's being cooked. I'd recommend this though.

We bought this frypan to use in the caravan and it’s perfect. Small enough that it doesn’t take a lot of room but it’s small size certainly doesn’t affect the quality. Heats very quickly to a really good temp, cooks food beautifully and the surface is amazing, even cooking marinated chicken in it, all it took was a quick wipe out. Absolutely fabulous little electric frypan
I thought that a skillet rated at 1200w wasnt going to be or to get hot enough. Skillet heats up quick and maintains the heat easily.Doesnt take up much space.Ceramic coating is super slik, and is really easy to keep clean.Very happy with this product.
The Sunbeam DuraCeramic SK6000 Skillet is the best model yet.I have owned a Sunbeam skillet for most of my forty years of marriage and use it most days.But this model, the DuraCeramic is by far the model I most like.Nothing sticks while cooking and it just wipes clean in soapy water or can be washed in dishwasher. I love my new skillet.
