My skin seems to respond to this product differently depending on its state. I have acne prone combination skin and after using this product, my skin feels cleansed and soft most times while other times it feels very slightly tight. I first received a free sample of this and something about using it felt very luxurious. (Maybe the branding? Maybe knowing its full cost? Who knows) It made me enjoy washing my face so I bought the full sized to pursue that experience further. It does a good job at maintaining my skin barrier and didn’t break me out. My daily make up is fairly light and this does a good job of removing it if I skip my oil cleansing step on some days.

I bought the whole night time kit and didn't think twice about the cleanser. The first time I used it I was not impressed. I thought, this stuff doesn't lather(?), and it smells funny (it has clay in it)Fast forward a bit and I fell in love with it. It's hard to describe. It feels gentle but still cleanses very well and doesn't strip. I love the way it leaves my face feeling soft and supple.As long as you are not overly sensitive to smells I do recommend it.

100% convinced that many of these 5 stars are paid reviews. I also find it interesting that all of the negative reviews (who have supplied plenty of information to warrant the bad review) all have multiple thumbs downs. Pretty shady. The bare minimum that I need from a cleanser is to actually CLEAN. Including makeup. After THREE washes, I still had mascara smeared all over my face. My mascara isn't even waterproof!!! I'm not one of those girls who wears layers and layers of makeup. Some bb cream, blush, shadow, foundation. That's it. For a cleanser to not be able to remove a little bit of makeup is unacceptable at this price point.
I love to try different cleansers and I have really enjoyed my experience of Sunday Riley's ceramic slip cleanser. I have been using in the morning and as a second cleanse at night. The smell may not be amazing, but the product itself works wonders! It lathers up nicely, cleanses the face with ease and leaves my face feeling silky smooth and fresh. All the dirt, make up, SPF and grime of the day is gone after I use this cleanser. My skin feels wonderful after use and I would recommend this to others.
I bought a full size of this cleanser without trying a sample first. Now I know why I should adhere to trying a sample first! I like the brand and have enjoyed most of the other products I've used from Sunday Riley, but this cleanser is not great. The name is nice, but I found my skin tight and dry after, plus it doesn't do a good job on makeup removal. Still got loads of the tube left - will probably donate on Olio or give to daughter. Not a repurchase for me.

My skin has always felt tight right after I wash it. I have tricky combination skin, and I feel like there’s never been a cleanser that targets both the dry and the oily issue. But this cleanser is INCREDIBLE. It takes off dirt, oil and makeup, but also gently moisturises. I find other cream cleansers to feel kinda gross - like I was washing my face with lotion. I use a tiny amount, probably the size of my pinky nail, and it emulsifies so beautifully with just bit of water. It glides over my skin and has a really soothing scent. It makes my skin feel so fresh and plump and CLEAN. I will buy this again and again.
OMG, I'm absolutely in love with this cleanser! I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and I'm already seeing such a big difference in my skin. It's helped control the oil and I always feel so fresh and energized after using it. My pores look so much clearer! The cleanser has a lovely foamy texture and I'm just so happy with it. I know it's a bit pricey, but trust me, it's worth every penny. I've used it all year round, in both the winter and summer, and it's been perfect for my combination skin. It removes all the dirt and almost all my makeup and leaves my skin feeling purified but not dry.
