This cream ticks all the boxes for me when it comes to a standard, everyday moisturiser. It's not actually as thick as I was expecting it to be, but it really does envelop my drier skin in a comforting veil of moisture, leaving it perfectly hydrated, calmed and plumped. My skin feels hydrated all day, too, which it sometimes doesn't when I use other products. It doesn't cause any of my serums to pill, and my SPF and makeup apply perfectly over the top with no issues, also. The formula does have a slight scent to it, but nothing major. I currently use the Sunday Riley vitamin C serum and nightly I use the Retinol serum (along with just a Cera Ve daily moisturizer.) I wanted a more high end daily moisturizer and tried the ICE in store on my hand and loved it. My skin has never had an allergic reaction to a product, and is always clear/not typically sensitive. I also have combination skin. After 3 days of use my skin broke out in fleshy bumps all over including my eyelids, under eyes, and eyebrows. It was bumpy, rough, angry, slightly stinging and itchy. I went from completely clear skin to scaley bumps ALL OVER. After a week of trying different remedies, it finally cleared and I'm back to normal. I highly suggest trying it on one spot for days before putting all over. Returning this ASAP.

I have reactive, dry skin; I used this for a few weeks, and it did cause some initial redness (from the heavy feel), but no major reactions. The initial scent is a bit off putting, but once you put it on, there is no lingering scent at all. My big issue is that this stuff is thick and doesn't spread easily at all. It feels heavy once on the skin and doesn't absorb that well initially, though the white cast goes away completely after a bit, and I don't get any pilling when I apply my sunscreen 30 minutes after applying this cream. It is moistirizing, but the lack of spreadabiilty forced me to pull too much on my skin, so I'll have to use this on my body and not my face for the rest of it. A better alternative to this is Naturium's plant ceramide rich moisture cream. ... MoreI have reactive, dry skin; I used this for a few weeks, and it did cause some initial redness (from the heavy feel), but no major reactions. Good moisturizer but not worth the price
24 May 2023

I luckily bought this on the 25 days of beauty so it was half off. This moisturizer is soooo nice snd leaves your skin very moisturized. The bottle and packacking is soo luxurious. It even comes with a little spatula. And a little goes a long way. The size is pretty big in my opinion. The smell is ehh, not the best but it doesn't bother me tbh. The thing that bothers me is that like it has little beads in the cream and it kind of feels like it's trying to exfoliate your skin. So whatever you are moistursing, it feels rough coming on the skin because of those little beads. I dont know if i got a bad one or if it's meant to be like this. Because of this, i dont think its worth the price. I dont think people with sensitive skin should buy it. Theres even better ... MoreI luckily bought this on the 25 days of beauty so it was half off. Great For Dry Skin
27 November 2022

If you have dry skin and need a night cream, this is delightful. This is a heavy duty moisturizer. Like most Sunday Riley products, this won't be ideal for oily or acne prone skin and I think that's where a lot of the low reviews come from. Because this thing is like a warm healing hug in a jar. I love that it comes with a spatula as well so I don't waste product under my nails. A little goes a long way and the texture is beautiful. This is one of those products I was nervous to purchase after reading reviews but after using it, I really think its a matter of someone using a sample product that wasn't intended for their skin type then calling it a bad product. There's nothing wrong with the formula, just be warned that this might not be for everyone.

Luxurious Hydration
31 May 2023

Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturizing Cream is a skincare gem that delivers exceptional hydration. Despite its higher price, this cream has become a luxurious staple in my morning routine. The results are remarkable. It deeply moisturizes and plumps the skin, thanks to its ceramide-rich formula. The cream's luxurious texture absorbs effortlessly, leaving no greasy residue. While it may be a splurge, the quality ingredients and thoughtfulness in Sunday Riley's formulations are evident. The elegant packaging adds sophistication to the experience. For indulgent hydration, this is worth considering, despite the higher cost. It's a treat for your skin and a worthwhile addition to any skincare collection.

Must Have Winter Moisturizer
16 May 2023

Love this moisturizer! It’s perfect for combination skin and Canadian winters. I stock up every fall and it’s the best moisturizer I’ve ever used to keep my skin hydrated, protected, supple and luminous throughout the fall/winter seasonal changes. I alternate this moisturizer in the evenings with either SR Tidal or Vitamin C moisturizers for day night, typically, but I also use it for days when I’m planning to be out for a long walk or hike to protect against wind, cold, and chapping. I love the non-greasy formula and that it creates a strong protection under my makeup. Strongly recommend for anyone who struggles with combo/dry skin especially in colder, drier, or harsher climates!

New fav moisturizer
14 April 2023

The best moisturizer ever. My skin feels so soft after using it for even just a few months, and considering it was winter in Canada where I live, I am blown away by how good this stuff is. That being said it is a very heavy moisturizer and meant to be the last step in your bedtime routine so keep that in mind and try to give yourself a bit of time before sleeping if you are a side or stomach sleeper to let it fully absorb. As for people saying it doesn't spread well, I have no idea what they are talking about, it's almost like a cold cream it's so smooth and spreadable, and if anything is a little bit on the greasy side. A little goes a long way with it. So if you have dry skin I highly recommend trying this product but if you are looking for a light moisturizer or ... MoreThe best moisturizer ever. Pore clogging, not worth the price
5 August 2023

When I first bought this product because of a Vogue Beauty secrets video, I was estatic that it worked for my skin. I have extremly dry, flaky skin, and I bought this moisturizer, despite it’s outrageous price as something to put under my makeup. I saw some good results, nothing phenomenal, but good enough to keep it. However, after about two weeks of semi-continued use, I saw more clogged pores and blackheads than usual for me. As this new addition was the only change to both my routine and my climate, I had no doubt that this was the cause. When I looked at the ingredients, cross- checking them with a list of pore-clogging ones, imagine my dismay to see that the SECOND ingridient is indeed a type of seaweed extract, which while it can be nourishing, it us ... MoreWhen I first bought this product because of a Vogue Beauty secrets video, I was estatic that it worked for my skin. No thanks, but a helpful reminder to check the ingredients of every insanely expensive product I buy in the future.

high-quality
9 February 2023

Hey there! I just wanted to share my love for Sunday Riley's skincare products. I've been using them for a while now and I am constantly amazed by their effectiveness. My skin is aging, but these products have helped me achieve some amazing results. I recently tried the Sunday Riley's Ice moisturizer and, wow, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked in reducing redness and irritation caused by dry skin. I've been using this moisturizer for about 2 weeks now and I'm already seeing a noticeable difference in my skin. I follow a skincare regimen that includes a few steps, but it's totally worth it! I highly recommend Sunday Riley's products to anyone who is looking for high-quality skincare solutions. Give them a try and see the difference for yourself!
