Sunflowers by Elizabeth Arden EDT Spray 3.3 oz *Tester

As you can see from the photo, I’ve used this scent quite a bit. But that is not all. This has been my signature scent for 12 years!! Yes that is correct, I have used this basically everyday since I was 10 years old and am now 22. I can only imagine the actual number of these I have been through since then. I love this fragrance, I have so many extra bottles stocked up because I never want to run out of this!! It is fruity, citrusy, and so fresh, a perfect go to everyday scent for those who want to smell clean with a little something extra. I love the original, but have to use it very, very lightly as it is a heavy scent and seems to get heavier as it warms on my skin. White Diamonds Lustre is a much lighter scent and doesnt seem to be growing as it warms. I was a little worried about it, but really am glad I chose it. The packaging is, of course, exceptional in beauty and function. It will keep your bottle safe. The bottle itself is eyecatching and carries the signature band under the cap. This would make a wonderful gift for mother, aunt, girlfriend, etc.. It will make them feel loved and beautiful. This new fragrance could be called sweet, but not quite in the floral sense. It is not at all heavy or exotic . Citrus comes mind, but that isnt a really good description either. This fragrance is one I’d list as “mature”, but not in a dated way. It reminds me of a rich auntie, jingling bangle bracelets, and summer. To my knowledge, sunflowers don’t really have a scent, but if they did, it’d be lovely if they smelled like this. I typically prefer gourmands, but I find myself spraying this one throughout the day because it’s so comforting and nostalgic in a way I can’t really place. This is VERY STRONG for about the first hour and disappears rather quickly after that, but it’s so affordable, I don’t mind respraying. The perfume has a good staying power. Twelve hours after application the fragrance of the perfume could still be noted. When applying the perfume, keep it light so that it is not overpowering. The attractive bottle would look great on a perfume tray or dressing area counter top. The size of the bottle is a nice size for taking along when traveling. The Elizabeth Taylor White Diamonds perfume would make a nice gift for a family member or friend at a very attractive and competitive price. My first impression from the Packaging and the shape and design of the bottle was Art Deco it could be from the Golden Hollywood Era, a gift from Howard Hughes to his many loves including Katherine Hepburn, Rita Hayworth, Bette Davis, Ginger Rogers . . . . I am sure when Elizabeth Taylor designed this fragrance she thought about the classic Art Deco Era. Cleopatra was the huge film when she met and famously fell in love with Richard Burton whom she married and divorced twice and there was a rumour they were to marry for the 3rd time but sadly he died. She has encapsulated all emotion and love and it is as it says on the box Full of Passion. Top notes Aldehydes,Mandarin,bergamot, citrus es, Mid ylangylang, honey, Rose,Jasmine, Tuberose. Base Vanilla, Sandlewood,oakmoss,patchouli, Musk I have yet to test Bal a Versailles so I cannot make a comparison however ET Passion does resemble Givenchy Ysatis which was launched in 1984, 4 years earlier than Passion. The box design shape of the bottle is similiar and fragrance notes are almost identical. This is a much more affordable fragrance as a large bottle of Givenchy Ysatis retails at 78 in The Fragrance shop. Try it you will love it

Liquid Sunshine

I'm smitten! I've fallen completely in love with Sunflowers by Elizabeth Arden! It's so bright, with citrus, and perfectly sweet... It almost makes my mouth water! When it settles that sunny sweetness is still there, but there's also a slight woodiness that comes through, especially on skin versus clothing that feels grounding. Together it feels like a spiritual experience! Absolutely beautiful! This fragrance goes much further on your clothes and in your hair, as most do. To sum it up it's like the best spring morning or a joyful summer day, filled with golden light and smiles, that ends with a bonfire. Money can't buy happiness except in the form of a 3.3 oz bottle of Sunflowers!

New formulation, smells different and doesn’t last

Buyer beware… new formulation!!! This was my favorite perfume, I used to get compliments daily and nothing since I got this new shipment. The scent doesn’t last at all and I am using so much more than with the old scent.I have emailed customer service any they admitted to recent changes in the formulation. I have yet to get an acceptable resolution on the 4 I unused bottles I have. I even asked to get the old version so I could stockpile it and they are sold out. I ordered in 2023, and I was shipped the old formulation of sunflowers. This change is definitely recent, in the last year or so. I never write reviews but felt like I had to let you all know. I hope they take comments seriously and resolve the issue ASAP!

Not the Sunflowers of yester year.

Okay when first sprayed, got that gorgeous smell sunflower was always renowned for, but must be honest here , by the time I left the house , it was frankly, gone. I wear perfume for me. I like to smell it on me.. I also Luke to be commented on it. But almost half a bottle gone in what ,2 weeks ? No. Not for me anymore guys. I was gutted . Wore it all summer several years ago . But I won't be re buying. I've also bought the summer blossom in sunflower too recently and tbf I've noticed deodorants more! Not the same anymore for sure. Very sad.

Oldie but goodie

I’ve used this when I was 15 years old. I’m 44 now and my husband wonders why I don’t order this. He was like “what was that perfume you wore when we met?” I keep buying perfume and he remembers how good I smelled when we met. Hes not impressed with my scents I wear really. He’s happy now. I’m happy. WE’RE HAPPY!! That much more happiness in the relationship now. Plus double amount of Sunflower online for the same cost just about than purchasing in Walmart.

oldie but goodie

Bright and fresh. Clean and crispy. Light Yet strong if that can make sense. Strong, but I guess from the longevity? And all the compliments you get from men and women, young and old, strangers! .. this is a scent that brings me back to my childhood and memories. My godmother used this scent as her signature scent in the 90s and in 2002 she got it for me when I was in high school as a birthday gift. I would purchase it from then on over the years. Now I’ll be 38 and I love it still. I’ve tried so many scents over the years and it’s always been a great purchase and the cost is great
