Sunglasses Oakley Holbrook OO9102 9102Z0

I am loving my new sunglasses, but there were a couple things that threw me off about them.When I opened the package the lenses were seperate from the frames, which I wasn't expecting. I wrote a chat to you and the response was "go to an optometrist" so I went on Youtube and they showed me how to install the prescription lenses myself.Secondly, they did not come with a case, but with a sketchy little cloth bag, unlike the second pair I have on order (CA0690796522G) which hopefully will come with the free Oakley case as promised. But I'm still loving my new shades, and will send a photo when I get on the boat.Can I arrange to have an additional Oakley case included with my new order??? Thank you.

Disappointment, sugar quality, shipping is a joke

Disappointment overall in the lenses in regards to quality. They just seem cheap, easily breakable. The lenses arent complete tungsten copper color where it will block your eyes from being seen by other people. Shipping is a joke with DhL who will just transfer it to USPS after sitting on it. Oakley packages your glasses without giving a hoot. Just throw the glasses in an oversized box with no packing peanuts or even paper. Let em bounce around in there, that’s why you pay so much money right.

I’m “Cool” now! …but I’m still Hot!

First new sunglasses in over 20 years. I decided to go on my impulse and instinct with these frames/lenses. My first impression was immediate when I first saw them. Front page on this site, top middle pair, grabbed my attention right away. I probably should’ve gone with the “ice” Prizm color lenses, but somehow, the amber/red Iridium seemed more appropriate and appealing. As far as the actual optics are, I don’t know what the difference is between the two of them is, but I suspect they’re both decent in light and glare reduction. These Iridium lenses have a very soothing look that reduces glare and haze, sharpening your view in partly cloudy conditions when the sun’s rays are being refracted and scattered by thin layers of clouds. I will certainly try Oakley again (Prizm lenses next time) and GlassesUSA be my first choice when ordering. Their phone operators and ordering procedures were quick and easy. There was a mistake made initially on my info but it was cleared up in minutes, friendly and apologetically. The order was shipped a couple of days later than they claimed on the website but I wasn’t inconvenienced by the delay. I was given a great price and couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

Lacks comfort

This particular style of Holbrook has beautiful aesthetics. I love the blue polarized/prism lense with this style of Holbrook. A nice variation of camo and black. Overall, beautiful design. My reason for four stars is comfort. The temples (arms) have a tight fit as they hug back of your ears. Slight irritation and pressure as the temples sit on the middle area of your ears near the temple tips. The temples feel as if they have serrated edges as they sit on the area. Slightly heavy. Looks like I'll need to get these adjusted or a pair of different temples all together. I ordered the regular size, not XL. Most people fit the regular size you just need adjusted temples. Just FYI for everyone.

Major quality issues

I just got my third pair of Holbrooks and the quality on them has gone down significantly despite them costing much more than my first two pairs. I cant believe how bad the plastic frames are now for a +$200 pair of glasses. You can feel and see the mold seam around the entire pair of glasses. It's sharp and pokes your ears when you put the glasses on. Astonished at how bad these have become after being in love with the glasses for the last 10 years.

My favorite

This bra just came in with 4 others. Of the 5 different styles I bought, this is my favorite. It's the only unlined one too and the most comfortable. And it looks really good! I'm wearing the rose one right. I wear 42DDD and my breasts are round shaped. I am going to order more of this style (while returning a few of the other ones).

My first prescription sunglasses!!

So thrilled I finally decided to get some prescription sunglasses! GlassesUSA made it simple, easy, affordable, and FAST! Love my new Oakley Holbrooks. Showed up before I expected them and in time for a weekend of outdoor activities. Love it. Will order from GlassesUSA again for sure!

Poor quality (lenses get scratched easily)

Pretty good glasses BUT fragile... Once I've got my glasses hanging on my pocket and barely touched metal surface (grille of an air conditioner) and get them scratched with deep scars. I had Oakley glasses before and never got something similar though I used them much harshly.Story not ends on that. I contacted customer support and explain them that it must be defect of the lenses and sent them pics of the lenses. Also explain them that to make sure I tried to slightly scratch my already damaged lenses using a surface of a table and got scratches as well. So I got an answer that "any type of scratches on the lenses is not consider a part of manufacture defect". So from that I can assume that any lenses of Holbrook series are scratch sensitive in high degree. I ... MorePretty good glasses BUT fragile... What more can you say… these are Oakley Holbrook sunglasses with my own lenses in! I asked about my personal, older, pair being reglazed and it worked out cheaper to get a totally new pair, with red iridium prescription lenses fitted!Bonus is I got the original purple iridium lenses in the deal so my older pair have new lenses and my son is very happy to have his new Oakley’s!Ordering was simple, delivery took longer than expected, but I am sure the current pandemic saw to that! Worth the Investment

I bought the all black Holbrooks with black polarized prizm lenses about two months ago. I never write reviews but I have to for these. There's only been a few sunny days where I've been able to wear the sunglasses and they're amazing. The colors come through vibrantly and lenses cut out glare. It's almost like they're telling your eyes to see better. I feel like normal sunglasses just make everything darker, these block out sun while still providing unmatched vibrance and visibility. It's a hefty price tag, but they're great for driving, fishing, or everyday wear. If you have the money to invest in a quality pair of sunglasses, you won't be disappointed.
