This is the best quality braid I have ever used. It ties knots easily and passes through the smallest of rod eyelets with ease. The super thin diameter means that is takes up much less room on your reel. Just something to be aware of. I used it to top fill the last 1/3 of a 2019 LT 2500 Certate, and the 300 M roll was enough for this exactly.

Smooth and small diameter braid, Cast well and easy to tie knots. I have been using this braid for a few years now and is one of the better ones on the market.

Terrible line, I do a lot of ultra light fishing and have used lots of different light braid and this is by far the worst. Terrible at holding knots to fluorocarbon , terrible at wind knots and awful for wrapping on the eyes of the rod when casting. I may have got a dodgy batch but I won’t risk it again.

I change braid annually and gave this one a go in 10lb. The line frays very easily and once that occurs it will break. Also susceptible to wind knots, tangling and all 'round hard work. I've been using braid / superlines for 20 years and this has been the worst choice I've made - line stripped and binned after a few outings.
Got this line to finish off my light bass set up on a 1000 Shimano, with the intent of throwing mostly 3-4.5 gram spinner baits, and to say I'm impressed would be an understatement. The last time I spooled up my 2500, I used Daiwa J-Braid X8 in a 15lb, and this Sunline in a 6lb feels almost as confident a line, even with it being half the strength. It peels off well, ties easy, has zero memory and handles larger surface lures no dramas. Worth the few extra dollars.
Great braid. Casts well, strong, thin dimension. Ordered to go with new reel. Braid didnt turn up. I have this braid on other reels
Upon some earnest miss guided adventures whilst shopping and receiving plenty of verbal recommendations from various sources, it always pays to do a little research and reconnaissance whilst ignoring most of those various recommendations as they are plainly and simply verbal, written and marketing diarrhoea. I purchased Sunline's Siglon braid in orange and have found it is a very good braid line to use - I have it attached to a good leader and also to good mono backing line on my rod and reel combo in which I put together myself. I have had no trouble with Sunline Siglon Orange braid regarding the type of fishing and the fish I pursue as it is still holding up admirably which is what real fishermen like myself always expect with a purchased product like fishing line.
I bought this late last year for the first time and have not looked back since. It is super slick and the diameter rating is accurate. Being a rough weather fisherman land based, I need long casting and when the staff matched the line with the Shimano long cast bait runner, WOW. It goes a mile and when partnered with a Kato fluorocarbon leader, it has great strength and has landed some good reds at PFB and Gummy’s at Western Port. If I had a negative, the line is only available in orange which makes it impossible to untangle if you get a cross line so maybe the buyers should look at stocking the green as well as the chartreuse so when you fish with more than one rod, there is a difference if the previous happens
Another of the toughest, great strength but also amazingly thin Japanese braid on the market. I haven't had the opportunity to test this braid against stronger pelagic fish like spanish mackerels, southernblue fin( long tails) or yellow fin tunas due to the 300m length but believed the 50lb strength combines with 80lb Black magic leader should be no problem on my 10,000SW gosa.
Super happy with Siglon. Definitely one of the best lines you guys stock, and many may not realise the differences with braid lines and how they display their breaking rating, PE etc, so they end up purchasing a line much thinner than they may think for what is displayed on the front of the braid packet.Having more strength per diameter than many braids out there, I can only hope people clue on to this sort of thing.

The all-time low was $28.99 on 30 July 2025. That's the lowest price we've ever tracked — a great time to buy.
