Bught 6 of these and 2 out of them didnt work, One just didnt tighten up at all and another gave up after one tighten, I have the oztent poles and they have been great but i needed extra so i thought i would tyr these as they are aussie made. I let Snowys know and i was impressed with how they replaced them . They always have great service, I can only hope these poles last as i have faith in aussie products and i dont wish to lose that

Made in Australia - you better believe it!!!Locking mechanism works well and doesn't slip like other brands. Aluminium is thicker than some others and overall excellent quality. Highly recommend.
The pole was just what l needed for my porch awning on our caravan. It aluminum light but strong well priced and fast delivery,
I ordered 8 of those poles to setup a tarp in my backyard. After only several days 2 of these poles bent and fell over. My new car got scratched. But the most annoying thing was that Snowys (which is normally quite good) stated that bent poles are not covered by warrenty unless they break. Well it did not take long and now I also have 2 more broken poles. This time folden up to 90 degrees. I can only warn you not to get the Aluminium poles. I bought steel ones now. I hope they are more sturdy.
Very satisfied with the product, the only concern that I had and raised with you in previous email is the quality of packing, this was a replacement for one that was delivered previously because of transport damage and the replacement arrived with a deep scratch but luckily still functions correctly. Great product. Have used these before. This time I replaced all 4 of the poles on my awning when one of the original poles locked & could not be loosened. Sturdier than the normal light weight poles & far easier to lock & unlock with the ribbing. Highly recommended.
I ordered the longer poles to minimise how much of the inner poles I extended for my awning. So I'll have almost a double pole when I use them, still much lighter than the old steel poles, and hopefully as strong in onshore winds.
The title says it all.Less flex than others.The locking mechanism is way better than others.The grooves and matte finish give better grip than others and the poles have a better 'quality' feel overall than others.I'll be buying more!
