In both instances, I saw things happen that I never saw before in a Monopoly game, and I have been playing since I was 10 (I'm 58 now). In both cases, going to jail was highly desired, because it got you off the board for up to three turns! And while you could not collect rent while in jail, you didn't have to march through the minefields that were other people's property, either. You start out with more money in this game, but the game ends sooner because even with additional properties, ways to win money and places to go, it gets lethal real fast.
