Super Poligrip Extra Strength Denture Adhesive Powder, Denture Powder

My Mom has been using this powder for years and prefers it over the gel. It provides a great hold and prevents food from getting under the dentures. It is a lot easier to clean the dentures with the powder over the gel which is so messy. We are finding it harder to find in local stores and not readily available on Amazon.

I don't wear dentures but my husband recently got dentures. Super PoliGrip Zinc Free Denture Adhesive Strips work the best for him. He is sensitive to zinc. The strips are easier to use than PoliGrip Zinc Free Denture Adhesive Cream. The strips aren't messy and don't ooze from underneath the dentures like creams do. A The strips are more expensive than cream but worth the money.

Denture security

Love this product for keeping my top dentures secure and most food particles do not get under the plate. The powder keeps the dentures in place for a good 12 hours (sometimes longer) which is great when you are at functions etc or just doing your daily things. I have found that the powder provides much better coverage than the paste. Hope this product is not made obsolete.

Honestly, all day hold for your dentures

I have used this products for many years and it is the best. There was a time about ten years ago it was hard to get (company from Scotland) and I had to use something else. It was ok but this is the very best. There isn't alot of mess when you are cleaning them for the day or for the day.

Keeps dentures secure while eating

This denture adhesive is quick, easy, no mess and keeps dentures locked in place while eating. Easy to remove from mout. Just swish some water under and around dentures and suction is broken.

Life saving!

I’ve been using this powder for about a year now. I will never go back to using that nasty goop. This holds firmly for the entire day and night. I use this on my upper plate and a liner on my bottom and it works perfectly for me. I don’t get it wet after shaking the powder around to cover the entire denture. I just pop it in my mouth with the dry powder on it, it seems to adhere better that way and stay put longer.

Meh

This stuff is SO messy and it doesn’t work at all for me. You leave your denture a bit wet and you sprinkle/spray the powder all in the top. And then after you’ve made a huge mess you put the piece in place and apply pressure and then hold you mouth closed while you pick all of your supplies up and you open your mouth and it just falls right down. I’ve tried it a few different ways and no dice. It’s just garbage fodder. Others might have a better experience. If you buy this make sure you go over the directions slowly.

Truthful, honest review

I love this powder. It isn’t messy like the paste. It holds solid for 8-12 hours depending on what I’m eating. If there is a lot of hard to chew food then it doesn’t last as long which is understandable. Simple to use. Simple to remove. NONE of the horrible sticky mess like the pastes leave behind. No joke I used to spend half an hour every night cleaning to goop off the dentures THEN I had my mouth to deal with! Ugh!! My Dentist had me try the powder and I am never going back!!

Use only because needed.

Works better than most but not as well as wanted. The feel is terrible, slimy, difficult to clean the teeth and mouth, a real gagger but then again, so are the others. Thank goodness there is no taste.

Very satisfied customer

I just started using this powder abd I am so glad I switched. It holds both my top and bottom dentures in place alot better than the creams. It is not messy like the creams and does not leave a bad taste in my mouth. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I'm very satisfied with it. I will continue to use it. Before this i was unable to eat with my dentures in but now I can with this powder.
