Colour not as anticipated.
The three stars are because the colour was not,as stated ,purple. As the colour online, which appeared to be a pale blue, often differs from the actual colour,I ordered hoping that they would be a true purple. They seem to be a watery lilac ,not what I wanted but comfortable. The colour on the box says that they are violet. The size and quality are as expected .The width is slightly too wide, but they will still be comfortable on very hot summer days.... Comfy But Heavy
I read all the reviews and boight the pale pink in half a size down...and they are perfect. Quite wide fit. I wore them with invisible socks for the first day of wearing them and they were very comfy. They look stylish and casual at the same time. However...not at all lightweight like the previous reviewer said. They are heavy rubber soled trainers. Much heavier than other trainers I have so just saying incase you decide to buy them on weight alone.... Show more

Cute but not always practical and odd sizing
Got these shoes three weeks ago and I am ambivalent towards them. They are simple and cute in design, so they make styling them incredibly easy. However, they tend to run wide in sizing. I also still am not sure if I picked the right size. I am a 9.5 American sized women’s shoe but in these I could not figure out which size to go with. It was a toss up between a 9 and 9.5 (medium width for both as that was what was offered). The 9 sized shoe fit for width of my heel and arch but squashed by pinky toe with even a thin no-reveal socks. The 9.5 Superga shoe was too wide in the heel and arch area and a little too long in the toe. After testing both shoes in the store by walking the perimeter of the store I decided on the 9.5 vs the 9 sized shoe after reading reviews ... After testing both shoes in the store by walking the perimeter of the store I decided on the 9.5 vs the 9 sized shoe after reading reviews saying the sneaker would not stretch out (like say Sperry’s would). Also, I didn’t think my poor pinky toe could stand the torture of wearing the 9 Superga consistently.Fast forward three weeks through multiple walks and several hours at two festivals and I am not sure about the sizing still. The 9.5 is not so big it causes me to trip. However, I do have to lace my shoes ridiculously tight to feel secure enough in them they aren’t going to fly off my feet. As for comfort... they are just okay. They give you more support and toe protection than a sandal. That isn’t saying much though. But if you are looking to do some walking exercises in them you are better off with a running shoe. My feet were warm and comfy in them while frequently standing and occasionally walking in them on a warm summer evening and cool summer night at a local festival for 4 hours. However, I think my converse give me more support.Overall, great fashion shoe. However, these are bone white and will require some maintenance to keep them pristine if you tend to wear your shoes through gravel and dirt and wet grass. They are warm and cool enough for the summer. Wouldn’t bank on these keeping your feet sheltered in the cooler wetter months. They are comfy enough to wear around town and grocery shopping or shorter social excursions.I would not recommend these for long days filled with a lot of walking and it’s standing on cement. Your knees will not thank you.... Show more

DO BETTER, NORDSTROM!
I am so frustrated with Nordstrom. So, they have to see shoes as being listed as the woman’s sizing aka they’re unisex but choose your normal shoe size in women’s to receive the correct size. So I do. I order my usual size 9.5 women’s and the shoe that comes in the mail is a MENS size 9.5 aka way too large for me. I’m frustrated but I say okay, lesson learned, so I reorder in the size 8.5 thinking that a men’s size 8.5 would fit me—NOPE. They send me a women’s size 8.5 which of course is much too small. And now the shoes are sold out in all the sizes. So annoying! Do better, Nordstrom!... Show more

Favourite summer trainers
Absolutely love Superga, they are the lightest, most summery trainers and an every day staple. I find that the classic Cotu style goes equally well with frilly summer dresses and skirts, as well as sporty shorts and jeans. They are light-weight enough to always find their way into my luggage during the warmer months. The sole is sturdy and the rubber provides gentle bounce. Highly recommend!... Show more

Gorgeous shoes but not comfy for long periods of wear
Bought these to go with my summer dresses and they did not disappoint! They look great with prints and plain styles so definitely my go to shoe. Only downside is that they're a bit tight along the bottom of the tongue. Not sure if it's a stitching fault as one is worse than the other but it did mean that they're a little uncomfortable when they're worn for long periods.... Show more

Nice looking sneaker but not that comfortable
I loved the look of these sneakers and had my eye on them for awhile . They are very nice on but I'd have to say they are not that comfortable. I purchased them in a size 6 as I'd read they are a little on the large side and as I regularly buy 6 1/2 I thought, fine .The sole is very rigid with no flexibility and the footbed has no cushioning , I also found they slipped at the heel when I walked . I bought gel insoles thinking that would solve the problem but no it only made the heel slip worse ... I'll need to keep them as l wore them outside , if you are only planning on sitting and not walking these are stylish shoes ... but I couldn't go any distance I then .... Show more

Not as advertised
I ordered a size 3 and 4 to compare based on previous reviews stating that the sizes run big. They are not wrong, I am usually a size 4 and it was massive! However my main issue was that the two shoes weren’t the same. The size 4 came with different coloured laces (white and not creamy coloured to match the leather) and the stitching was completely different. The size 3 has the stitching as advertised whereas the size 4 does not have the raised stitching shown in the pictures on the very and superga website. Very disappointing.... Show more

Smart, stylish, comfortable pumps
I’ve spent years looking for some smart, comfy pumps to wear for a day on my feet and these are perfect for me. As a half-size wearer with very fussy style taste, I’m very pleased with the fit, look, materials, comfort: with everything. I admit I’ve only worn them once so far, but I was on my feet for almost eight hours and have no blisters or rubbing. I’m now here to buy another pair in a different colour.... Show more

Very comfy
I lived in my first pair of these so I'm on to my next pair. They're really comfy, even without socks. Only issue with the white ones is how dirty they get. I've had them in the washing machine a good few times but they're never quite the same. Before I wear these I'll try to treat them with a stain protector. I'm usually a size 4.5 and the 4 fits perfectly.... Show more
