Awesome, just a few things to note
I bought a pair of the sea glass Supra Cotu Classic Tennis Sneakers last month. I read all the reviews and followed the suggestions to order 1/2 size smaller. Sneakers arrived and at first I thought they were too small. Then I relaced them, just the way you see in the catalogue pictures, and I put on ankle socks as you would do if playing tennis. Voula' ! they felt great!! Unfortunately then I also knew that they were too short and they are now on their way back for resize to my usual size 8. Ordering a second color today, regular size 8.... Cute but wide
Shoes are too wide on my feet and not comfortable to wear for the whole day. I made them work for me by using Dt Scholl’s inner soles. They still slip in the back a little. They fit better with tights or socks (when the weather gets cold). I do like the style and the grey-green color I chose which is why I wanted to keep them if possible. I won’t order another pair though.... Show more

Cute sneaks - takes a lot of walking to break them
I haven't worn them much but so far I like them. Garnet Hill's customer service on the other hand, leaves much to be desired. After I'd already received these cute sneakers, I got an email that they were shipping. I reached out to customer service about it and never heard a word back.... Show more

Hmmm, different than my 1st pair
I purchased my 1st pair of Superga Cotu sneakers in person at a good quality clothing store, after trying them on. When I saw the sale for the same sneaker at Garnet Hill, I was eager to get a 2nd pair of the same sneaker, in my usual size 8, in another color. They arrived, and were different. I compared both boxes from both purchases side by side, and they seemed identical. But, the sneakers from GH fit differently. They didn't arrive with the usual Superga inserts to maintain the shape of the sneaker between wearings. They were laced incorrectly. After re-weaving the lacing, the sneakers fit a bit better, but, the rubber around the sides seems to rub against my big and little toes. And the cushioning did not feel as yummy. I'm not returning these, but, not as pleased with this GH purchase as I usually am.... Show more

I own 7 pairs!
I discovered Superga Cotu sneakers about 7 years ago at a different store. Since then, I've probably bought 8-9 pairs (had to finally toss a couple after wearing them to death). I'm 60 years old and do not feel as if I'm wearing a sneaker designed for a 20-30 something. They are incredibly comfortable which is a MUST for me since I have arthritis and my feet have been most affected. Short of an athletic sneaker, these are the only sneakers that I can wear because they actually have an arch and the toe box is roomy enough for my slightly misshapen toes. I have several friends who do not have arthritis, who are my age and who wear Supergas so any of my comments shouldn't be construed to be describing an orthopedic shoe! The cotton ones can be thrown in the clothes ... MoreI discovered Superga Cotu sneakers about 7 years ago at a different store. The cotton ones can be thrown in the clothes washer. I just ordered the pink velvet and while I don't know yet, kinda doubt that they could be machine washed. I'm a size 8 in every shoe but order a 38 in the Supergas which most charts (including Garnet Hill's) equate to a 7.5. And I probably could go down a half a size (and would if there was a color or pattern not available in a 38). They are sneakers-you can tie them tighter or looser. Love my Ga's.... Show more

Not enough toe room = design flaw. Returned.
I so wanted to love thee cute tennies. Material quality excellent. But there is not enough room for my toes. I don't have unusual feet, but the cut of the shoe cramps my toes in unhealthy ways. A rounder toe bed would solve that problem. Function over form would have been a better choice on the part of the designer. Had to return them. Sadness.... Show more

Not made for a narrow foot
I bought these first in my normal size and were too big. I returned and got 1/2 size smaller. When they came in, they didn’t slip on my heel, but were too wide for me. I didn’t want to return again so I wear with low cut socks and tighten up the laces. I wanted some white canvas shoes for summer and they do have good arch support. They are heavier shoes than most canvas shoes if that’s a problem. Overall…..good guality, just not for a narrow foot.... Show more

Runs very large
I ordered these in my usual size 11, and then also in a 10 1/2, since reviews said they ran large. Even the 10/12 was too big, so I guess a full size down would have been right. I'd have reordered if the shoe had 5 grommets, as pictured. These had 6 grommets, which made my foot look even longer than it is. Otherwise very nice sneaker, wish it could have worked.... Show more

Uncomfortable and over-rated
I bought these after seeing NUMEROUS articles (not from Garnet Hill) about how "no way can an American go to Europe and wear tennis shoes" and this was the only "acceptable" style shoe to wear (c'mon.) So I bought them. They were uncomfortable as heck and I have worn them maybe twice and I am still hearing people go on and on about how great these are. Safe yourself some money and hassle and get something like Toms or Birkenstocks or ... literally anything else.... Show more

Very Cute Sneakers
I bought these sneakers in a 39 European size. I wear between an 8.5 and 9. So I had to return the Gray Alligator sneakers for a larger size...40. The process was a little weird since I paid through PayPal, I used the forms included with my purchase. It all worked out in the end, and I received my size 40 Supergas. These are really stylish sneakers, and I do love the look of them, however they are somewhat stiff, and have very little padding. I am hoping they will soften up with wear. Soooo, I am hoping for the best. The 4 stars are for comfort aspect of shoe.... Show more
