The Sure Flap Microchip Pet Door Connect uses your pets existing microchip like an electronic door key to allow them to come and go from the home. The included hub and app mean that the permissions of the door be controlled on your phone. The hub allows you to control your cat flap on the go. It is connected to your router and gives you wireless control. You can receive notifications when your cat leaves or enters the home and lock or unlock the cat flap via time scheduling or manually. It offers alerts for when a neighbourhood pet tries to access your home and allows you to keep track of their movements and moniter patterns in their behaviour. You can also set different permissions for different cats. To use the hub, you are required to have iOs9 or later or Android 4. 4 or later. To mount the cat flap into a glass or metal door, you will need to use the Sureflap Mounting Adapter. If you have a thick wall, you can use the Sureflap Tunnel Extender to give the cat flap more width.
