These surfer dude toys are great fun for kids at the beach. I bought one for my 10 yr old and it kept him and his friend entertained for ages. It actually works! Even if the toy gets thrown upside down it flips over and rides the wave. If it catches the right wave it can go for metres all the way to the sand. His friend will now get one so they can race against each other. Great buy!

They need actual waves to come back properly and work as described, but as we live in Far North QLD we haven't really got to see these guys in full action as there isn't many actual waves. Would be interested to see them working in action.They are great designs and look awesome! the kids still like pushing them around in the shallows, but a little disappointed they cant actually get them to 'ride' the wave back to shore.
We got 3 of these for the kids, and they are really fun beach toys. They do exactly what is advertised. Highly recommended.
This is a great toy for young kids at the beach. It gives my younger children an interactive activity that they can do in the shallow surf that is fun and safe. The Surfer Dudes are simple to put together and the kids will be throwing them into the surf in no time. My kids have even started naming the tricks and manoeuvres that the Surfer Dudes perform when coming back in on the wave.
I love these! I've bought them for my kids and all their cousins as Christmas gifts. So much fun for the kids to play with at the beach without them having to get right into the water. They stay upright and always come into shore. Easy to see with their bright colors.
I thought the Wahu Surfer Dude purchased for my 8 year old would be a one day wonder. Wrong! It was used for hours each day on our 2 week beach holiday and shared with friends. It was loved so much that we returned to Rebel to get a further Wahu Surfer Dude so that there could be surfing races! Excellent and cost effective toy
Super cool surfer dude. We bought one for our 4 y/o son last year, he takes it to the beach every time we go! He doesn’t like to share it too much so this year (2019), I bought my husband one too. They’re really easy to use and it’s entertaining to watch when it gets a good wave. Great beach toys for all ages!
This beach toy is great for the holidays when you want to keep the little ones entertained! It provides hours of fun, my kids kept throwing it in the waves and watched with delight as it returned to them. The game became a competition to see who could throw the furthest and whose surfer dude comes back first. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because some of the picture/ images to come off in the sea water but apart from that it does its job and is a good way for kids to learn about riding the waves.
