Tongue and groove didn't line up which made installation and the finish complicated. The completed product ended up looking great though

The rendering of the Bunnings email requesting a review is almost invisible in iOS in dark mode However, clicking submit takes me to a webpage that is ok, so here goes . We’ve all seen these used on the Block to great effect. In reality here’s my experience, which is generally goodOn a small table saw with a sharp blade , setup properly, and with the cut lines tapes with masking tape, the item cuts cleaning without chippingMade of MDF , when used in areas that are prone to impact, I think the scallops will chip and get damaged in time, so I put felt protectors on the bar stools that I know will bump into it. However, people sitting in front of it will probably mark it up with their shoes. All fixed with more paint of course. They use a strip of semi flexible plastic rather than a proper tongue and groove. You can’t get a perfect join, but it’s pretty good. I filled the hairline crack I had with acrylic gap filler pushing it into the crack with my finger as far as possible and cleaning around the crack/join with a wet clean rag.These paint up fine but you can’t use a roller. Spray would be best but I used a brush and a Matt paint. If you went satin or gloss the brush marks are your problem to deal with.Overall I really like the product,it has added movement and modernity to a previously dated surface that was given the Block treatment when it was trendy a few years back, of wood effect floorboards .
