Being a professional photographer and wildlife 'Spotter/Catcher' I'm out in the bush quite a lot. As a Spotter/Catcher I'm required to get up close and personal with a number of critters, especially the venomous ones. The SURVIVAL snake bite kit, suits my requirements and is ideal to have close by 24/7, whether it be at the camp site, in my back pack or the 4x4. A neighbour was bitten on the back of the leg by a brown snake, he didn’t see it as it came from behind. Hubby used a home made kit I made. The kit saved his life, but it was clumsy and unorganised at the time. It also didn’t have all the items you really need like this kit has, especially in this nerve wracking and critical situation.Compact and easy to store, easy to identify, folds out quickly, everything in view, quality materials. Watching the video on how to use the kit showed just how easy it is so you don’t panic if the time comes you may need to treat a snake bite. Preparation is everything. Don’t regret it, get a kit… and gift a kit to those you love. I just did.

It has a step by step guide so if you are inexperienced in first aid or have forgotten the steps to take in applying first aid to a snake bite there are instructions to assist you. Labelled compartments great to replenish what has been used. The tension bandage with the marked rectangle that changes to a square with the correct application that reinforces the correct tension application of the bandage is such a good idea.

I initially bought the snake bite kit for myself. I was so impressed with kit I bought 2 more for my grown up boys that love getting out in the bush.The kit has everything in it that you need to feel safe and deal with a bite including a very informative guide to step you through the process. After seeing several snakes on our Otway Ranges property I purchased the SURVIVAL Snake bite kit. I shared the accompanying SURVIVAL instruction video with family members and attached the Kit to a wall accessible to all. So excited by this handy product.Apparently all the Tiger Snakes in Melbourne live right over the road from me. My pooch and I forage daily along the banks of the Yarra River where there is still rough scraps of native bush.And now we can be extra prepared for snake season which has already begun.We saw our first Tiger only last week swimming along beside the bank.Feeling extra prepared and much safer with out Snake Bite Kit.

The quality of the bag is military tough.I fit my Snake bite Kit to my 5:11 back pack when my wife and I go on bush walks.
