Sutton Tools Auger Bits are designed for fast cutting through holes in timber such as fence posts and railway sleepers. Its single-spur cutting edge scribes the circumference of the hole for a smoother finish. These are made from alloy steel with a coarse screw point that draws the bit into the work piece which makes cutting and drilling faster in hard and soft woods. The hex shank also helps preventing slippage in chuck. Suitable for kiln dried timber hardwood, softwood, MDF and particle boards.
