Excellent cutting through 1/4" 316 SS. I did use it with TREFOLEX, so it worked well.
This is the quality I have come to expect from sutton tools and to be honest if I can buy Australian made, I will! I am definately going shop there again in the future.
Bought this (13mm) based on special mention of ability to handle StSt, a very difficult metal to drill, I'm only drilling 2mmgal C channel, no sweat I thought, pay the $50 with a smile, got 40 holes to drill. 3 seconds and about 1mm in,using CRC cutting oil, the drill bit would go no more. Absolutely disappointed in this product.
Good all round drill bit. Holds its edge, I have used it for drilling stainless, mild steel and aluminium also corrugated iron. Highly recommended
Melted on the first stainless steel rivet head - rubbish for $10+.I will bring it back to Bunnings tomorrow for a response.
Tried with my conventional high quality drills but no luck.Purchased Inox. 1 minute on slow speed and job done.Highly reccomend for stainless!
Great drill for stainless steel. I was able to easily drill through 10mm stainless steel rod. The drill is still in good condition.
