Quality:original SuuntoPerformance:great as alwaysMy second Suunto after model M3. If you want to be different, you can opt for this brand of smartwatch. One of the best, other than Garmin or iWatch.Seller is the best. Received item the next day you make payment. Complete with warranty card - stamped & dated.

Beautiful build quality and features I care about.

Less feature packed than similarly priced Garmin watches (except for the fact that this watch includes maps, which you can't get for the price with Garmin if you want AMOLED screen, or at all perhaps at $350), but that may be appreciated if you're like me. I wasn't looking for a watch that had a thousand different metrics and data fields for everything under the sun. I just wanted a nice watch that can track my runs, hikes, and bikes, with a nice look and feel to it.As someone who had a Garmin Forerunner 935 for many years and had no complaints at all about it, I was very excited to change it up for the more premium feel and simplified user experience. So far, I love my Race S. I just hope Suunto continues to support it and rebuild their brand in the coming years.

Incredible, beautiful watch!

After using watches from Garmin (that were almost triple the price), Coros and Suunto, I have finally found my favorite watch. First all, this watch is gorgeous on the wrist. It feels like a quality timepiece, it looks classy without a lot of flash, and it's made in Finland. It does everything I was looking for, and needed, without all the extra stuff that I found I never used to begin with. The flashlight feature is great, not as bright as Garmin's dedicated light, but bright enough to find lost keys in a dark tent or climb dark stairs when putting a toddler back to bed. The AMOLED screen is gorgeous with tons of clarity and brightness. I found this watch to be much easier to read while out running than my Epix. The battery won't last weeks, but I'm getting a solid 5 days of everyday use and the charger is not only simple to connect, but quick to charge. The gravel gray band looks super cool and unique, and I love Suunto's pin system to keep the extra at bay. It tracks sleep, activities, steps, anything and everything I need. I even used the pace feature for a recent 5K and it was incredible. It basically buzzed and gave me a "speed up" or "slow down" to keep me at the pace I was trying to run the race. Which ultimately left me with a personal best time. I really can't say enough good things about this watch. Time will tell on the quality and longevity, but right now it's impressed the heck out of me and I can't wait to wear and use it daily. The ONLY thing I'll be on the lookout for is a titanium version with a sapphire glass. Otherwise, this watch is a keeper for a long time!

Incredible, beyond my expectations

Coming from the Garmin Fénix 5 and I can't believe the difference. The quality, display, functionality, ease of use, value, accuracy etc... are all light years ahead. Makes me want to go out there and exercise. The Suunto app is also incredibly insightful and useful.

Many uses

My first GPS watch. Lots of interesting features. The size and fit is great on my average-sized man wrists. It always feels light and comfortable. Love the color and look. There are a couple interface things I find annoying. I wish altitude was listed on the hike tracking screen. The metrics seem spot on. Ive cross-checked steps and heart rate and they are accurate.Great piece of gear. Crazy expensive for me so the only drawback is being scared to wear it on my dirtier more reckless ventures.

Massively lacking. Does not perform very well

1. music controls don't work due to the new update.2. the wrist HR sucks, so I only use a HR chest strap. Loving this watch, it looks and is so much better than my previous Garmin & Apple Watch. Beautifully made, metal casing and a stunning strap with gravel looking particles set into the strap. Still getting to grips with the features although initial thoughts are very positive, easy to use and topped off with a very informative app. Initially I was reluctant to chose Suunto but so glad I did. Also amazing service and a great deal from First Class Watches

figure on a lifetime of buying straps!!
18 September 2024

This is a review of suunto ambit 3 watch and the company itself. i rarely write reviews, but was compelled to do this one after my watch strap has broken for the third time since i purchased the watch in 2018. I use this watch for running and always rise the watch and strap off afterwards. The strap is maybe a silicone material. and I am now at $225 (three x $75) for watch straps--fast approaching the initial cost of the watch itself. There was a time a few years back when one could call suunto and talk to a person. Now, customer service is pretty much non-existent. Were I able to talk to a person, I would ask how they justify charging $75 for such lousy watch bands!! I vow never to buy a product from this company again...buyer-beware! Figure on buying new straps ... MoreThis is a review of suunto ambit 3 watch and the company itself. i rarely write reviews, but was compelled to do this one after my watch strap has broken for the third time since i purchased the watch in 2018.
