Excellent Buy

Wasn't looking to upgrade to an air integrated computer but the deal is very much worth it. Extremely easy to use with great features. Fantastic for recreation diving and extends fairly into tech diving as well.

Great product for a top price!

Suunto in use for years but after the death of my old Cobra now looking for something new. Because Suunto likes a nice new wrist computer and with that this pod. Pairing the pod and watch is almost automatic and the pressure seems fine. We have to wait for the first dive, but I am confident that given the good experiences with Suunto. Scubastore delivers for an unbeatable price and reasonably fast, although the tracking of the shipment sometimes leaves something to be desired, but that of course says nothing about the product.

Another excellent item from Suunto. I have two, one on my single first stage and one on the right pillar of my twinset. They connect instantly with my Eon Steel every-time and without fuss. No messing around, they work.

Simple And Effective

This was my second Suunto EON tank pod, so I can have AI on a pair of side mount cylinders. As with the first, pairing with the EON Core and Steel was as simple as turning on the gas and watching it pop up on the screen. My first one has been completely reliable and went through 200 dives before it needed a new battery. It has a good range and has never suffered from blanking or data drop-outs when used with a single cylinder or backmount twins and I expect the new one to be just as good.

The Tank POD is Great !!!

Simple to set up and use. Set up your D5 to use a Pod (again, incredibly simple to do). Install the POD on a HP port on your 1st Stage and connect the 1st Stage to a tank. Turn the gas on. Respond to the pairing request on your D5. That’s it !!! The D5 & the Tank POD are forever paired. Nothing else to do except dive. I heartily recommend getting a Tank POD fro your D5 or EOD.

Works good, Easy to use, Good quality, Expensive

Product is solidly built and works effortlessly. All you do is install it on your first stage or a HP hose with the correct adapter (included). After that you connect the system to the tank, open the air valve and hold your watch close to it. Turn the screen on and you will see a Air mix prompt. Then your done. I found it to be extremely accurate and was on par with my analog Scuba Pro Gauge. Price in my opinion is excessive, i don't feel they should charge 400+ for a connectivity feature after you already paid 600-1200 for the computer.

So far all is good with tank pod and eon core combo. I only have 6 dives on this computer so not a lot to say about it yet. the computer and pod act exactly like you see in all the you tube videos. I will say the digital compass is sweet compared to standard compass for casual navigation. it does not bounce around. I will try to remember to do an update in a year. I am happy with the purchase. my old zoop novo is very basic in comparison. I am a recreational diver. I don't see myself ever on a tech dive. It would likely do well in that role.
