It is a good product, but the HomeSafe software crashes. I would also recommend a thorough review of the features of the NHD-887MSFB cameras, as the 885MSFB offers much more interesting features, in my opinion.

Easy to setup up, really adds peace of mind when not at home that things are covered and should anything happen we have evidence of this. Great to have the microphones as well to communicate if needed.

Best value for money, easy to install

Bought this product over 2 months ago, very happy with it, easy to install if you are handy around the house, delivery took a little longer then expected.

Camera get the moisture

I bought NVR 8 8580 4k one swann system. But i am not happy with NVR 8 8580 system in two year. I changed cameras four time.Because camera get the moisture. Second problem all cameras loss connection randomly.

DIY Security System

The system , after registering is simply plug and play. It was very straight forward and all plugged in items just showed up on the Monitor.The delay in the system from any movement to it being displayed on the monitor was about 2 seconds which is disconcerting when testing but not noticeable in actual operation.the resolution was good and the mating 12MP units were excellent.The phone app works well and accepts the door bell unit very simply.

Decent analytics - other issues though

Upgraded from 3MP system to 8MP system.. but limited by what seems firmware and resources on the unit. Good analytics really save time searching for things, but the unit does not keep a database of recorded faces which is disappointing. Want to be able to see how often the same face is poking around. Some streaming issues and network bandwidth problems appearing as well, I.e. meant to be 4K but actually streaming that live feed out over a gigibit network is somewhat not possible, and only shows the lower substream quality which defeats the purpose of paying all this extra money for the 4K version. The cameras are good quality, with the audio, and light sensors etc. Works well overall but expected a bit more with streaming and flow of setup

Doesn’t work as advertised

Bought to replace older 4MP camera system. Thought I’d upgrade 4K. Two cameras continue to go offline and back online with no reason. Cabling tests fine. All cameras are set to only alarm when detecting with PIR & Motion. Continually triggering from the wind on trees and shadows. Adjusted sensitivity from max to min makes no difference. Deselected all areas with trees to no avail. Tried to contact support online but product doesn’t exist on their system? Old system was more reliable will be sending back to retailer for refund. Also be aware this system does not support the perimeter intrusion detection line cross selection etc. only has face detection. Needs different cameras to enable those functions. Disappointed

Good but haven't had it long enough to review fair

Cameras seem good so far. Haven't had them long enough to evaluate them properly. The app is ok but it's very slow you connect to the cameras when you're out of the house and not on wifi. Hardly worth checking. The installation was easy but the cat5 cables which came with the unit were difficult to unravel. Finally worked out how to unravel without tangling the cable on the 6th cable.

Horrible Swan security camera with solar backup

I spent nearly $250 on this Swan security camera with the solar backup and it is utter horrible. The live streaming never consistently work, it mostly have remote connectivity problem even though the unit it located near a wifi gateway. Also, it takes sometimes up to 24 to 48 hours to be able to watch the videos recorded during alerts. This is a horrible system and got a lot of connectivity issues. I will NOT recommend this to anyone

Worked great for 3 days before it stopped working

This unit installed easily worked as expected for 3 days before the NVR stopped working. No HDMI output to screen and the Android app which was working indicated the unit is "off". I have tried calling support multiple times and left a callback number. The RVA indicated the call back time eg 62 minutes, 31 minutes and 22 minutes but after many hours no call from support yet. This unit replaced a previous swann security system which was still fully operational after several years. I am obviously disapointed with this units reliability but now also concerned about the poor support.
