Google compatibility takes hours to setup with changeable results.Worst of al is the customer service - Slow to contact, slow to respond & weeks to turn around a warranty failure.In honesty there are far better systems out there with better night time definition.

Unable to know if the unit works well as we purchased it to replace another model NVR only to find out our cameras are not compatible with the 88580H. Now we have an expensive paperweight. Would be good if the compatibility of cameras was listed with the NVR model not hidden in an obscure hard to find location.

There are 3 instructions books inside the box. There is no information on the cameras (leads etc) After 2 months of trying to get help fromBunnings and Swann, I only have a partial answer which has come from Swann and even that seems to be an effort for them. So maybe in another 2 months, somebody may help me. I guess only professional, experienced people buy these. There is absolutely nothing online that I can find either.I am now in the process of trying to find someone to install these. Thanks Bunnings and Swann, at least you got paid, I have to pay someone else to help me figure it his out.

I like it due to it's user friendly operating system which makes it easy to use even for my elderly clients.
it was working fine but after updating firmware and updating App, App if freezing for first 10 to 15 seconds and the NVR giving following notification every day. Many people has complained about it but no solution has been provided yet. The cameras can only be angled a small amount left or right which makes them absolutely of no use for camera or spotlight. To say that I feel ripped off is an understatement
Only compatible with Internet Explorer which is EOL. User interface is cumbersome. Some features hard to setup. Customer support not very helpful.
Good Points: The images captured by the camera are very clear . It notifies you through your mobile phone when any camera is energised . It is very useful to see the live view of cameras and recorded footage. Very good system.Improvement Points: The instruction to set up the system using a television for the first time should be clearer. The screen of the television should be set at 4:3 to start and then it can be changed to any other combinations. It will save time to set up the system.
Camera system was good while it was working......we had a warranty for 12 months......and an extra 6 months if we registered with Swann......and guess when the hard drive decided to die.......19 months in. Contacted Swann but the wouldn't do anything except send us a new power cord to see if that would fix it. Really disappointed in spending the money on a system that didn't even last 2 years.
The hardware as in the DVR and cameras is very good. Stable and well built.But the software and website are diabolical!The on screen menu is basic as they come. You have to constantly log in and let me tell you that really gets old fast. Also I come here to find out the power consumption of the DVR and the supplied cameras and I can not fine this standard information anywhere, its just a poor show really. Also the firmware updates and few far apart.Oh and the dam thing is connected to my router and it can be controlled and viewed remotely however when you use the OSD and check the internet connection it has a bug and says that the DVR is not connect to the internet.One last thing the thermal cameras are fantastic during the day but at night you may as well ...
