The second way is less messy. I read online where a woman pops open the capsule but does it in her bathtub instead of her sink so the water drains it away and there'e less mess to clean up. While I like that option, I don't brush my teeth in the shower because of the amount of water it wastes. So now I did got myself 3.caps and lots of water. And feel the Charoal working. Also can be used if you have a infected eye ,my mom did that once. Then just open caps into boiled water , then let it cool down ,And she pour to her eye ,and for real we watch it open up on like 15.minutes top.
