Sweet baby ray's is sorta the default bbq sauce where I'm from, which I assume is because baby ray's comes from chicago which is in the great lakes region, as am I. In fact, for a long time, I thought it was a regional product! But it makes sense that it's not. It's a really good store-bought bbq that you can get for cheap. I'm a cook so I can always make my own, but I keep baby ray's around because who even wants to homemake bbq sauce every time? And I suppose one could buy the artisanal bbq sauces instead. But I never have because who can afford that? Maybe if you don't use bbq sauce very often, or you just buy the artisanal stuff occasionally.. but like I said, I never have, so who knows if it's even any better? But I digress.. It's the perfect condiment to keep on hand for exactly the right price!

I know some people that use BBQ sauce on pretty much everything. They put it on pizza, hot dogs, burgers, and so much more. Personally I am not one of those persons and I use BBQ sauce rather infrequently. However, when I do need BBQ sauce my go to is certainly Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet and Spicy. Their original sauce is good, but I like the extra heat this sauce kicks. I eat plenty of moderately spicy foods, so I don't find this sauce very hot. I enjoy that this sauce is much more than just sweet and it pairs great with classic combinations such as pulled pork and chicken nuggets. In fact, I went through a whole bottle of this stuff last week when I bough 5lbs of nuggets. I was quite surprised when the bottle was empty!

I never let us run out of Sweet Baby Ray's sauce! This stuff is everything! It's sweet with a kick of spice! It's thick and has a tang to it as well. It's hitting all the flavor spots on your tongue to make everything taste wonderful! Great on chicken! My favorite though, pulled pork! Slow cook a pork roast until it falls apart, then pull it into strips with 2 forks! Add a whole bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's. Serve with onion hamburger buns! Mmmmm. Your family will love it!
This sweet baby Ray's hickory and brown sugar barbecue sauce is great on so many different dishes. Tonight I made pork chops and rice with peas. Some wanted teriyaki and some wanted barbecue. So I had to make both kinds. sweet baby Ray's barbecue sauce is one of my kids favorite. It has a really great flavor. You can taste the hickory and brown sugar in this barbecue sauce. They love dipping their chicken nuggets and chicken strips in it. We love grilling out and having barbecue chicken and pork chops. There are so many uses for it, really depends on what you like. I like to always have some on hand in the pantry.
I am an absolute fan of Sweet Baby Ray's Sauces! Our whole family loves BBQing, and there are so many sauce flavors to choose from! One of my favorites is the Honey Bbq! Reasonably priced and tastes great on all the typical BBQ meats! Trusted company, great quality! We always have a few bottles in the fridge and on hand in our pantry! Hands down, once you try their Sauces, you will definitely agree! Can't say enough good things about the Sauces and the Company in general! Highly Recommend!!! *Pictured- My son went way overboard on the BBQ... he used the Honey BBQ sauce, and it all turned out amazing!
This is a review of Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce that is sold in a 2 packThis is a sweet sauce that is a great base for your own flavorings. This sauce is thick, so adding broth, juice or soy/worcestershire will not make it watery. This barbecue sauce is fantastic just brushed thickly on broiled chicken wings, ribs or shrimp. It makes a great glaze when applied over a Barbecue grill or under a broiler burner. This sauce is versatile and tasty.
Love this sauce. Here's how I improve it. Been doing this for years, ever since I tried a premium, much more expensive sauce, and wanted to try to simulate it. Add 4 teaspoons of whiskey or bourbon to an 18 ounce bottle. (You obviously have to be legal age to do this.) There's enough room in a new bottle for it. Now shake, shake, SHAKE until thoroughly mixed. YUM! Don't know if it's okay to say brand names, so I'll just say that I use "J.B." brand bourbon.
