Fine pan if you want to care for it

This pan is fine, but I am having a very hard time finding the right way to care for it/cook with it. I've tried to stick with the pan given instructions and only use a maximum of medium/high heat, clean it with warm soapy water and a soft sponge, and cook without metal utensils. However, the pan seems to need a lot of immediate nursing to clean (cleaning immediately after use, boiling of water on the very easily stuck-on grease, and gentle, time-consuming, multistep cleaning). Great size, heavy skillet

I have been wanting a large stainless steel skillet for many years. I have a small one. I have ceramic skillets that are showing some wear. I am very please with this skillet. It has aluminum sandwiched between the stainless steel for even heat distribution. I love the glass cover that lets me see what is happening without lifting the lid.
