Very impressive - the non stick surface, that you can pre-heat it on the induction stove-top and also the speed with which it boils water.I have two Scanpan CTX induction saucepans and apart from not being able to pre-heat them on the induction stove I have found that both are left with an impossible to remove whitish marks on the inside bottom of the saucepan. I have done as Scanpan suggested in their literature (boiling them) to remove the residue and it still has not removed it. I hasten to add that I also have two Scanpan CTX Chef's pans, one frypan and three casserole pots and have no problems with their surfaces.

3 months ago I've got an induction cooktop and as I make a lot of custard desserts or Panna cotta I was looking for a nonstick saucepan. I tried a couple of different brands and only Swiss Diamond Prestige Clad XD worked to my full satisfactions. Other brands needed endless to heat up or were not really that nonstick. The only other brand which worked alright but doesn't have the same non stick qualities is the Silit. I have quite a lot from the Silit range which works very very good on the induction and I love to use, but you need one or two of non stick saucepans as well, which the Swiss Diamond Prestige Clad XD is absolutely perfect for. Quick and easy to use and clean.
