E.g 1 reading per hour. Tracking for safety and alerts can remain. Allow us to set how long to save the data to prevent long waiting times to download all the data. Eg save data for 3 days or 7 days, 14 days etc.

Shortly after receiving my SwitchBot Hub Mini, I had it controlling my Air Purifier, TV, Roomba, Roland Piano and two flameless candles. Setup was easy. After scenes were created, I added the SwitchBot skill to Alexa and had voice control working as well. I love the simplicity of the SwitchBot Hub Mini design. I doesn't require direct line-of-sight to each device, although it of course needs to be in the same room. I bought a second unit for my bedroom and set it up as well. The only glitch so far has been to get the candles working with Google Home. The Google home app does not acknowledge "Other" devices. Could SwitchBot add a device called "Candle" perhaps? As far as smart hubs go, it does everything it needs to. It's also small, lightweight, and quick to recover from power failure (or reboot). The range is fairly decent. I use it to connect my temperature sensors and my Keurig via Bot, and my only complaint is that maybe 1 in 10 or 20 times, the Bot will not respond. Now, I don't know if it's the Bot's fault or the Hub, but it doesn't matter if I use a smart speaker or the Switchbot Remote; either way, the Bot never activates. Now, around half the time when I use Alexa, it tells me that it's not responding, but it works anyhow; that seems to be a delay issue. All this to say: it's not quite reliable enough to use on something important, at least not yet. But for my coffee machine? I can overlook that for the convenience.

I am overall impressed with the device. I was pleasantly surprised how well the integration with my Aircon walked. I also got my TV turning on which I had never been able to do without the original remote. I was disappointed with the template for the Apple TV. I lost power to the device to to a power failure and I had to reset it as it somehow lost all the Wi-Fi settings. I am looking forward to testing it with a Bot and I am thinking about cameras
I wanted an intependent remote button presser for old "dum" tech so I could use them from anywhere around the world and this with switch bot was small, easy to install, reasonably affortable and so far reliable answer for my needs. Not biggest fan that I needed to buy the hub separately to get everything work over the internet (outside bluetooth range), but I understand the battery life reasoning behind it. Lukily the hub fixed this problem and it was not too expensive. Only thing I would have wanted was power brick in the box for the hub but that was not that big of a deal. All on all I would definedly recomend this to everybody
This is not a bad little device. I am using the beta version that allows multiple events. I schedule the device to operate every 9 minutes (a series of 10 actions) to trip a key on my computer to avoid the 10 minute security shutdowns on my laptop. I have had to pull the battery a couple of time to clear the memory but generally the device function OK. I have had good response from tech support to my questions. I also bought the hub but the device works on bluetooth so the hub does nothing for me. Don’t but the hub if you don’t really need it.

Not that bad when considering the light switch but when you addup sensors, that can be a privacy concern - The hub cannot work on a local network and provide data to a Home-Assistant device for instance. Any command send to the hub must go via the online and centralized API. - Home Assistant Integration doesn't exist for this device. You will need to use their hard-to-use API if you want to integrate it to your Smart Home local system. - Integration with Google Home is working but is not perfect : Temperature sensor is detected as a thermostat (which you can change even though it does nothing), lights have ... It is an excellent product. It works perfectly and I would buy it again. However, there are two small issues. It comes with the necessary cord but not the adapter. It needs a 5V, 1amp adapter that they are considering adding it to the package. Also, the instructions are a bit weak, but I figured them out and got it to work within 10 minutes.
Love this early Christmas gift from SwitchBot 😍. This is my 2nd Hub Mini - my first is used to regulate the aircon temperature in my wine room with the help of a Smart Temp/Hygrometer. This 2nd Hub Mini will now be used in my living room to control my ceiling fan once i integrate it into my Google Nest for voice control. Looking to add more SwitchBot devices like sensors, cameras, roller blinds etc
So I bought the hub mini because I wanted voice control for the switchbot I bought. That part works well. I didn't even realize it would also do IR devices so I've been trying that feature out. The good part is that it does in fact learn IR remote controls and works in place of the remote. What I really want to do with it is to have it just turn several IR devices on/off via voice command. It seems like this should work but I've not had much luck getting this feature to work. If I can figure this out then I would give the hub 5 stars.
