Had my lock cut straight through and bike stolen. Lock was good for when I used it but buy a chain or steel U-lock if you're bike is worth anything.

My son was using this to lock up his mountain bike while at work. He came out of work today to find the lock had been cut and his bike stolen. I inspected the piece of cable left behind and the amount of steel braiding inside the plastic cable housing is embarrassing. You could’ve cut it in half with a butter knife. Had I known it was this rubbish We would never have used it. Print more secure if you tie your bike to a post with a piece of string. Thanks bunnings for the rubbish lock and the $600 bill to replace the bike. Absolutely woeful.

If you want your bike to be stolen.. then go for it.. My Norco Storm mountain bike was stolen from the city in daylight.. I think better to invest in a hardened U locks.. as these are just cable strands.. the 12mm thinckness does not do any good.. Bad luck that I choose this to protect my bike..

This is a great bike lock sturdy safe has a clamp that you can attach it to your bike on easy to set your own combination and it even has a light to show you the combination at night
I bought this thinking my scooter would be safe. Boy was I wrong. The thieves (underneath a security camera) cut this thing open within 5 seconds. Useless. My $1000 scooter is gone. You get what you pay for, just didnt expect Bunnings to stock such junk.
