Systane Nighttime Lubricant Eye Ointment 3.5 G

I don't know what happened to my eyes but for a period they were so so dry. I had used eyedrops but it didnt work so I bought this eye ointment on Amazon. You apply at night because they make your eyes blurry. You apply inside of the lower eyelid. What I had to do personally was first put on eyedrops then this ointment. My eyes were so refreshed in the morning. Ultimately this cured my dry eyes. Took a couple weeks.

After getting Lasik surgery my eyes were extremely dry. To the point that I will wake up in the middle of the night because my eyes felt so uncomfortable. While I was putting eye drops frequently, these weren't enough. I bought this and started using it at night, and it made a HUGE difference. After two nights of using it, I was able to get a full 8 hrs of sleep and my eyes didn't get as dry during the day. The product is quite messy and it may make your entire eye area feel a bit oily.I think that this is a great product for very dry eyes, this is like your skin moisture treatment that you use at night but for your eyes. My only issue is that the tube is small, and I think it is a bit high up there in price for just and over the counter eye treatment. Also, the line has another product that's in a gel form which is more comfortable to apply to the eye. I currently use the gel treatment almost everyday and during the weekends or days that I had a long day at work I will use this. They are both good products, it just depends on your preference of consistency and eye sensitivity.

Arrived unsealed and damaged.

I don't believe this is an authentic product! I think it's a fake. I bought this MANY times in person at the drugstore and this arrived unsealed, damaged and the product doesn't even reset the REAL thing. Walmart refuses to give me a refund. Very angry since this is fairly expensive. Do not oreder it.

Bring back the old thin metal nozzle design!

The new plastic nozzle is horrid. I despise the thing. Much more difficult to control how much product you get out of it as it is prone to coming out in blobs instead of the thin lines like before. So you waste way more product (I'm sure that's by design 😒) The end of the nozzle is also much wider than before, so application itself is much more difficult too. I've used this stuff religiously for years but after this tube runs out, I'm researching different brands. Ugh.

Defective Tube

It was not possible to open the tube, even with the help of the pharmacist. Exchanged it for a new tube, but when opened by the pharmacist about 1/3 of the contents spurted out. It was returned to me as satisfactory.I've had the same experience a year ago. This seems to be a chronic manufacturing? problem, not corrected overtime. Poor job you.

Dry Eye relief

Definitely only use at night before going to bed. It is a thick gel like lubricant with just a small amount in your eye, your vision is totally blurred. By morning, it is absorbed in your eye will feel less scratchy and dry. Well known brand that works well. I usually use the liquid, but this is a step up for nighttime use only

I Love My Eye Goop!

This stuff is great! I call it my eye goop, and I use it every night. It is ridiculously expensive, but what isn’t in today’s world? I have not found anything else that helps the way this does. Some days I even use it in the morning. Of course, I can’t do anything after that until the blurriness goes away, but it is very soothing and helps with the dry, dry eyes.

Lubricant sticks to container

I had never used a lubricant before in my eyes but bought this as was suggested by my eye doctor. I don't know if the lubricant itself is any good or not. My problem is that, as soon as the lubricant leaves the container, it moves backward to the side of the container. With that in mind, the only way I can get the lubricant in my eye, is to rub the container along my eyelid to wipe the lubricant off of the container and onto my eyelid. I dread doing this every night.

I put on a XPCARE 32 Pack Steam Eye Mask, which heats up and gently melts the treatment into the eye. In the morning, wipe away the residue beneath the eye. The ointment will stain pillowcases, but lubricates the eye so you wont awake with watery vision

this stuff actually helped my son more than any of the others!! he has chronic kidney failure and few other things because of his type 1 diabetes juvenile onset at age 8 and he is 41 now! but Systane PM holds to what they say it does! thanks Systane my son sleeps much better at night!!carolina Portland Oregon
