I was a bit sceptical on splashing out 205.00 on an electrical toothbrush but after my dentist getting on to me about not using my brush correctly, so causing bleeding gums due to excessive pressure etc I thought it was about time I got on the case, being a big fan of gadgets I was instantly drawn to this toothbrush. Setting up the app was a doddle, it tells you when you are over applying pressure, monitors where you have cleaned and where needs more attention, as different settings for what you are looking to achieve, i.e. sensitive, gums, etc. In a nut shell, I think cause you are looking at the app and following the on screen instructions you are more likely to give it the full attention, rather than when you are regular brushing you can tend to rush.

Much improved over my older model. The new motor is quiet and doesn't have the typical Oral-B lawnmower sound. The body has a different feel and it's more anti-slip in the hand than my previous model. The 9N version has perhaps a few too many modes but having used them all just to try them, I can see their utility. The connected app and live brushing can be helpful to improve brushing technique. Overall, I am very happy with this brush.

Smart features are cumbersome to use. The brush guide only works well if you hold your head and the brush in a specific way. Exactly a week after the warranty expired the battery stops holding a charge.
