I drink numerous versions of Earl Grey tea and find this to be my favorite. My only complaint with the tea bags compared to loose tea seems to be related to the orange flavor which tends to be stronger when using loose tea - maybe it's just easier to grab a bit of orange peel in the mix when scooping. Tea bags are convenient though if you're on the go.

I first tasted french earl grey as a sample tasting at Bath T2 store.I'm not a fan of strong fruit teas and prefer milder Kenyan or earl grey.I was immediately smitten by the complex blend of the bergamot, sweet fruit, petals with a hint of strawberry. There is a complex taste with lingering flavours without being overwhelming.I must admit I often add a splash of milk which provides a roundness and sweetness suggestive of vanilla ice cream.Friends who drink earl grey or camomile have become firm fans

The taste is quite unique to others. This tea has a strong scented smell and the flavor is smooth. The optimum temperature of water would be around 90 degrees Celsius. If you use higher than this then through my experience it sort of gives a burnt taste. Another good option is the 50-50 hot water and steamed milk. This tea ( if prepared well ) has a superior feel to other Earl grey teas out there! I highly recommend this for evening time drinking or after dinner .

I just love this tea and today took delivery of another order . Disappointedly the French Earl Refill bag has a use by date of June 2022. Five months may sounds ok, but I'm an occasional drinker who likes to vary my tea drinking with a variety of Tea 2 teas. The Melb Bfast refill has Sept 2024, so too has the Canberra Bfast, and that's great but how do I check the freshness and use-by when ordering online? Will probably give half this bagaway before its expiry.
I recently visited my niece to meet her new baby. Instantly fell in love with little Esther <3.Whilst there she made me a pot of the most beautiful French Earl Grey by T2. She claimed the tea is currently her go to for revival and relaxation. I fell in love at first sip. Fragrant, refreshing and no bitter after taste. With or without a splash of fresh milk, I am now a regular consumer of the T2 French Earl Grey and have my own supply! That day I fell in love with new little bubby AND a new twist on a perfect cup of tea.
A very pleasant tasting tea to relax with and something different out of the usual boring teas out there! French Earl Grey Tea from T2 is now my new favourite Tea! I found it while away on holidays and couldn’t find it at home when I got back. So I went straight to their website and ordered it there and found a whole pile more of yummy Teas to Sample, yes I bought the sampler to try too? I’m now obsessed 🤩 thank you T2, keep up the great job 👏
I thank my father for putting me on to this one. Its my favourite for years! Highly recommend this tea if you want to go beyond the old English Breakfast. Great quality tea. We both found you can get several cups out of one bag. Love that its got a lovely fruity-ness almost flowery (as in flower or flour) taste that's not too overpowering the aroma is just heavenly. serveral cups out of one bag. :)
Fast shipping, well packaged and the product itself is amazing. I wanted a different earl grey as there as different types and this one was perfect. It has floral and fruity notes and is delicate but sweet. I tend to have it with milk but the fruity and floral undertones are still flavourful. Definitely my favourite tea from T2.
I purchased this tea, untasted, on the recommendation of a friend in Adelaide. I occasionally drink regular Earl Grey tea, but I will be drinking this French Earl Grey on a regular basis. The fruity/flowery flavor from the hibiscus, sunflower petals, rose petals and mallow flowers is subtle and complex. I needn’t have worried that the flavoring would overpower the natural black tea and bergamot flavors. This tea is just perfectly put together. I’ve tried it with and without creamer but find I prefer it plain.I use an Inteye tea strainer that works very well as it has great flow-through and can be used for multiple cups of tea, in teapots as well as single cups. It looks much like the one that’s included with the T2 Teaset that’s sold here. I find I can easily get ... MoreI purchased this tea, untasted, on the recommendation of a friend in Adelaide. I’ve also tried brewing it in a 300 ml cup, letting it brew a little longer, and it worked just fine.I live in California and worried that it might take forever to get here. But I placed the order on Sunday and it arrived on Friday, a perfectly acceptable amount of time. It was shipped from New Jersey, on the east coast. Communication was great with confirmation emails and notifications when it shipped. Good shopping experience and wonderful teas. (I ordered 2 others as well which I’ll review later.)
I am absolutely obsessed with the T2 French Earl Grey. I think yea flavour is a very personal preference, but I absolutely love this tea. It’s an expensive treat these days, but I never regret it! I also love how you can see the proper tea leaves and other ingredients in the tea bags, instead of the leaf-flavoured dust in the regular tea bags. Am happy to pay a bit more for just that!
