They were recently purchased for my daughter for her school aquatics camp at Port Vincent. She found them very comfortable and easy to put on. They also provided great protection against the razor fish. I went to many department stores looking for Aquatic shoes unable to get the shoe size I needed or the store to not have any at all. I walked into Rebel as my last hope as I didn’t consider Rebel would stock aquatic shoes. I was delighted to find a great choice and able to get the size I wanted with no fuss. I definitely will be considering Rebel as my first choice next time.

The most comfortable adult aqua water shoes I have tried, and have tried many to decide upon this brand. It hugs the foot, yet enough room around the toes, has better coverage than others and good support. Easy to take on and off, and the laces hold tight. Drains well. Can remove the inner sole too.

The Tahwalhi Aqua shoes are one of my repeat and favourite buys. As a senior cit I am limited in which activities I can pursue to keep myself active. Pool walking is perfect, providing both social and physical workouts. The Tahwalhi offer protection for my feet at a cost that doesn't blow my pension. Without these aqua shoes I doubt I would be able to participate in this happy activity.

Good shoes with a couple of problems: The gripper on the laces does not catch well enough to keep the laces tight (I tied knots in them to stop the slippage, but then the shoes are hard to remove); The inner soles are thin and move around so end up bunched up; I these shoes them for pretty intensive hydrotherapy walking sessions so the forefoot soles did wear through pretty quickly. The thin inners bugged me so I cut a better quality innersole with arch support to fit and that felt great.Use a size lower than your regular runner size for best fit.
this is the 2nd pair of this brand I have purchased. First pair lasted about 5 months using for 1 hour 3 times a week. Needed to replace as holes were worn in the bottom sole of both shoes.Very easy to get on and off and they did not loosen whilst in the water and are very comfortable to wear. The inner soles top layer (fabric) does not adhere to the bottom layer (foam) for long. Had to re-glue the top layer after a few wears. The whole of the inner sole detaches from the shoe but this makes it easy for them to dry. They dry quite quickly
As others have stated the lining inside the shoe comes out but that's an easy fix with a bit of glue. they are great for casual walking around Rocks. because the soul is flexible it allows you to feel the rocks under your feet which is what you need when you're climbing around. Not so good for general walking on path or bush tracks because the soul is thin.
We bought these for our holiday in Croatia because of the rocky beaches and sea urchins. They were pretty much perfect except that they took a bit longer to dry than expected.
These arrived with one of the laces broken. As I needed them I couldn’t return them and so tied the laces. My son wore them for one weekend and one already has a hole in it.
Bought these “reef” shoes as was going on a holiday to Mauritius and was pre-warned about sharp coral- possible stone fish etc..Glad the Shop Assistant advised to buy smaller than normal everyday shoes ( I went two sizes smaller).. perfect.. wore quite a few times..also great on wet slippery surfaces
I have really enjoyed wearing the Tahwalhi Aqua Shoes as they are light and comfortable and make going into water quite safe. I recently started training for Dragon Boating and they are ideal forgetting into the boat without worrying about slipping. They are so easy to put on without having to worry about tying laces.
