My grandson is keen on snorkeling after being introduced on a holiday. The junior dive set was the perfect gift for his 9th birthday and the Rebel assistant was helpful in choosing the correct size.

What looked like a great product at a respectable price, ended in disappointmentUpon fitting the mask to the face and then stepping into the pool, the mask fell apart.The faulty part was returned to the stall with evidence of the purchase, with the intent to simply exchange the faulty mask.Unfortunately BCF wanted the entire kit returned, which was left at home because it was in perfect order.So no exchangeGot ripped off by BCF due to a faulty product

Not great gear at all. The snorkel is the only bit that I would keep. The clips that attach the strap to he mask broke on first use, and the replacement from the store has broken as well but is still ok for my 4yr old to use in the backyard pool. I will not take this gear into the sea The tightening mechanism for the strap is fiddly to secure as it uses a 'keeper' to hold the lock in place, and if this moves, the mask goes loose in the water. The nose comes too high into the lenses so visisblity is poor for a young person. The fins are ok, but the clips to remove the strap from the fin have to be fught with to be released.

Bought this set for my niece and nephew. They loved it! Good quality and fab that it comes in a bag to keep everything together. Kids felt so grown up with them without the kiddie pictures.
Goggles great but flippers snapped first go. Customer service at Rebel was fantastic but just disappointed in this product.
Got it at 30% off.Fits the 2 daughters very well and the goggles are very clear and excellent field of view under water. Very happy with this purchase.
It’s okay - but has been hit & miss - one daughter chose a blue set which she likes & so far works. The other chose a pink set & we have returned two sets so far. The first the mouth piece was misshapen & didn’t sit in her mouth properly. The second set the mask wouldn’t seal on any one in the family.The flippers are quite rigid & the plastic feels brittle.My 10 year old is happy with her purchase though which we did buy in the post Christmas sale so the price was reasonable & she has enjoyed using it.
The story with this set is short and horrible. First time use:The mask strap couldn’t stay in position. After trying to fix it fir the fifth time the holding strap bracket snapped resulting in an unsuable mask. Fins clips are really poor in quality and their clips often do not hold resulting in loose fins.All in all $50 for one day of use. Please consider other alternatives.
Bought for my daughter and plastic clips on flippers break easily, would not recommend these at all. Ended up putting cable ties on one side in the hope it could still be used then as soon as we tried fitting it on her foot the 2nd side fell apart!
Mask strap fell apart within 20mins. It is never going to work the way it is designed. Your kid will hate snorkeling dealing with this rubbish. Advice to get better quality if you are looking to get your kids to enjoy it.
