I received this product complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. Honestly I am not really a spicy flavor lover but these were advertised on the bag as “mild” so I gave them a try. For a more accurate review, I also had my husband who enjoys the Takis brand try this item as well. Upon opening the bag, both of us found the smell very strong and off putting..kind of like extremely pungent jalapeño. I am a guacamole fan so I enjoyed the initial flavor, although there was more jalapeño taste than anything, but my husband overall was not a fan of the flavor or texture and both of us found this “mild” flavor to be more spicy than a “hot” version of this brand. As soon as you open the bag, you get hit with the aroma of jalapeño first and immediately after with the guacamole. It could be a little overpowering if you are sensitive to odors but I didn’t think it was crazy or anything. It has such a great crunch. They are kinda addicting; I will definitely buy a full bag and finish it in one sitting. The taste is not NOT guacamole; you taste more of the jalapeño above all else but it’s not bad. It reminds me of the Tostitos salsa verde chips. I would 100% recommend them. Even my boyfriend liked them and he prefers extremely spicy chips. I’m also not a fan of the regular takis but these, i really liked.

It smells like verde salsa and pain. Very distinctive hints of Jalepeno. Its a regular sized bag at 3.25 oz. Its the same corn tortilla rolled shell. About 500 calories in the whope bag. I cannot bring myself to taste these out of pure fear my tastebuds wont recover, but if its any indication if how it smells, green verde salsa with extra extra jalepeno and a dash of lime juice. Husband and I munched on the Guacamole flavored Takis by Barcel. Me: let's try just a couple each to do the review. Hubby: good idea. We try 2 each, wasn't enough. Tried another few pieces here and there is before we knew it, the bag of Takis ended up to crumbs. The salty snack is met with rich depth of heat, but not overbearing. Loved the guacamole flavor it was lighty flavored but enough to really taste the goodness. It was funny because my husband and I are light weights when it comes to hot foods but this was satisfyingly addicting that we just had to keep it going down to the very end. Excellent you would expect from Takis brand!

The first thing that we noticed, when trying these takis is that they smell horrible! I knew I had smelled the smell before, and I could not place it right away but after some thinking and discussing with my daughter, we remembered very distinctly, trying a jellybean from Bean Boozled that tasted like this. We couldn’t remember if it was booger or stink bug but regardless, it’s disgusting! The crunch was just as good as any other taki, and the initial flavor was nice but the distinct smell comes through on the taste at the end and then you just don’t want to eat any more of them unfortunately! I will not be purchasing this product, nor will I recommend this to any of my friends or family! We even tried dipping them and ranch to see if it helped, and it did not! 

We tried these for free from Influenster in exchange for an honest review and we did not like them. I don’t typically like Takis but my kids love them! I thought I’d give it a try because I do like guacamole flavored chips. The first thing my kids do before trying something is smell it lol. We all agreed that the smell was weird and definitely not what you would expect guacamole to smell like. After trying them we also thought they tasted strange. Almost like a chemical flavor. I honestly wasn’t expecting much but was pretty disappointed in this flavor. We did like the other flavor (pictured). We won’t be purchasing these in the future.

The flavor in these chips is unbeatable! They are not super spicy they are just right! My favorite one is the guacamole chips. They have a spice to them upon first tasting them I got a strong green pepper flavor. Definitely would recommend and I definitely will be looking for these in the grocery store! The Takis Flare Chili Pepper and Lime sticks are pretty good too not really too spicy but you can definitely taste the lime more with every stick I ate.
