This series provides both the car fan and modeller a huge range of exciting subject from the automotive world. The 1/24 scale range includes vehicles from the race track as well as many iconic road cars. Each cars unique form and styling is replicated complete with engine, suspension and interior detail. This model of the Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R is a representation of the infamous line of Nissan cars which continues to the current day. The first Nissan GT-R appeared in February 1969, this model is one of the original Skyline GT-R 2 door version released in October 1970. They were stripped of weight and primarily aimed at people who wanted to race them. As with all Tamiya items, instructions are clear and concise, which allows the modeller to build a 1/24th scale car with ease. Many of the components such as the bodywork are already finished in the base colours; making painting optional and therefore ideal for the first time modeller.
