This series provides both the car fan and modeller a huge range of exciting subject from the automotive world. The 1/24 scale range includes vehicles from the race track as well as many iconic road cars. Each cars unique form and styling is replicated complete with engine, suspension and interior detail. Released in 1936, the Model AA was the maiden production car of the firm now known as Toyota Motor Corporation. Characterized by smooth curves and a front 3.4-liter inline-6 engine, technological advances such as synchromesh clutch 3-speed transmission and hydraulic brakes made the Model AA a dream to drive. 1,404 were manufactured until 1942. The model is 202mm long, 73mm wide and 75mm high. The luxuriously styled Model AA body is breathtakingly captured, with rounded front grille and flowing fenders. Features realistic detailing of front/rear seats and driver position. Frame, engine underside and suspension are authentically rendered. Bonnet and body side line details are depicted by metallic finish decals. As with all Tamiya items, instructions are clear and concise, which allows the modeller to build a 1/24th scale car with ease. Many of the components such as the bodywork are already finished in the base colours; making painting optional and therefore ideal for the first time modeller.
