Tamiya XF-60 Dark Yellow Flat Acrylic Paint 10ml
Tamiya Mini XF-60 Flat Dark Yellow Acrylic Paint 10ml Bottle Tamiya acrylic mini paints are made from water-soluble acrylic resins and are excellent for either brush painting or air-brushing. These paints can be used on styrol resins, Styrofoam, wood, plus all of the common model plastics. The paint covers well, flows smoothly and can be blended easily. When airbrushing using this paint make sure to use the Tamiya thinners. The first choice is the X-20A Thinner and the second is the Tamiya Lacquer Thinner. Tamiya X-20A is the easiest to work with as clean-up is simple and less messy for modellers who are new to airbrushing. The paint will dry slower using X-20A which will give modellers more time to work with the paint.

I always used enamels for my models because - they were sold everywhere.. but now that i tried acrylics on my Heng long T90, i'll probably use them from now on. Like i said, if you plan to airbrush this paint on, either get some tamiya thinner or just get the rattle can of this color. Goes on thin, almost no danger of build-up. The other side of the coin is, the coverage is paper thin, so choose your primer wisely since it's likely to show through. If that's not what you intend (some effects look better with black primer underneath) I'd use grey or better yet, white primer.

Great paint quality, as usual. Tamiya has great paints! The service from Sunward Hobbies was also top-notch. Highly recommend.

On 18 Feb 1943 the German High Command ordered all new tanks to be painted Dunkelgelb (dark yellow). This Tamiya Dark Yellow paint is the go to paint for many of the WW2 1/35 scale German vehicles sold by Hobbycraft. The paint can be used straight from the pot with a brush or thinned and uses with an airbrush. It gives good coverage, consistent colour and is competitively priced . It works well as a base for weathering and takes washes well. I've also used it with a range of weathering powders.

Have not used these yet, but even with postage costs still worked out cheaper than a certain other retailer. Plus you are helping to maintain a wonderful collection of historic vehicles as oppose to financing luxury yachts or jolly jaunts into space :-)
As a person who is an avid modeller Tamiya paint is something I use for almost all of my painting. The price at Hobbycraft Belfast was no more expensive than online which is was great to find out and as there are virtually no model shops left in Belfast this place has kits, tools and paints it's pretty much everything you'd hope to find if you want to browse kits and accessories definitely recommended.
High quality paint the colour of which matches the lid extremely well. Paints have good coverage and are equally usable with paint brushes and airbrushes.
Solid acrylic paint for plastic models. Depending on the undercoat/primer it may need two coats. Not such good value as the Revell range in terms of £ per millilitre, though the Tamiya range has some shades that Revell do not.
As I have been using Tamiya from many years ago, I have not tried any other of the paints which you have that I should tried some of your other lines.Last week, I sent you an order for several of your paints and a couple of other materials but, I now realize that you have moved and that I won't be able to received the order untell the 23rd. Is it that you could send me a note that you have my order?
