I have been using a certain brand of tampon for years. That brand decided to "new & improve" things, which made them worse. I decided to try the Tampax Pearl Trio pack w/Super/Super Plus/Ultra sizes. Each size has its own color so it's easy to distinguish between the three sizes. The first 2 days or so I'm a heavy bleeder. I often have to wear pads, too, as I quickly bleed through the tampons. I was excited when I saw that Tampax offered an "Ultra" absorbency option. The applicators are comfortable to use but the grip needs to be wider. I sometimes have a hard time holding on to the small end of the applicator while trying to dispense the tampon.
