TAMRON's new 90mm F2.8 MACRO for full-frame mirrorless delivers exceptional sharpness from center to edge with a smooth, velvety bokeh. It features TAMRON's first 12-blade circular aperture for perfectly round bokeh and minimal vignetting, especially in macro shots. When stopped down, the 12 blades create stunning 12-ray starbursts, ideal for dramatic shots with point light sources. Compact at 126.5mm (5") long and 630g (22.2oz.), it's easy to hold for extended periods. A focus limiter switch speeds up autofocus by restricting the focus range, while the focus ring's calibrated torque ensures precise manual focus adjustments. The redesigned hood includes a sliding window for convenient filter use. Compatible with TAMRON Lens Utility software, users can adjust settings, assign camera functions, and update firmware, with a mobile version perfect for tripod-based macro photography. This versatile lens excels in macro, landscape, and portrait photography, delivering distinctive results across genres.

Excellent lens.Fast focusing and sharp.

I took this lens and my a7iv on a trip to Kauai. The focus is so fast and nearly silent. My camera had no problem tracking the flowers and leaves moving in the breeze. The images are beautifully sharp from suffer open apertures all the way to fully closed. This lens is a great value. Definitely the best bang for your macro lens for Sony E mount. Images are on par with the 90mm GM lens and much cheaper.
