I had an older Tanita scale for more than 14 years and it finally stopped working. So we looked around for another Tanita scale and found this one which was an improved version with so many more features. It is such a great tool to have when trying to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight. This version shows you hydration level, bone density, muscle mass ratio, BMI and visceral fat percentage and your BMR age!! It is an eye opener on how healthy you are on the inside! It certainly gets you thinking differently about your health, your water intake, your diet and exercise. I like how you can store up to 4 people's statistics in so our eldest kids can use it too. I highly recommend this scale for anyone serious about their health.

I have had my scale for 4 and a half years and used them consistently, I first purchased for the body fat percentage and had no issues with them until about 2 weeks ago it showed an error message. I rang Tanita customer service and was told by a lady that because they had a 5 year warranty the scales would be replaced! WOW! Gotta say it was too easy, they were really helpful and I had absolutely no drama, fantastic. Within 10 days I had my brand new scales. Overall the scales and the value of the warranty for the price is awesome.

Bought this scale 3 years ago. It was quite expensive. It shows your body fat percentage. After about 3 years, the scale shows "error" instead of 0 whenever I turn it on.Overall, it's quite a good scale. However, considering the expensive price and the short life span of the scale, I personally think it's not worth it. At the end of the day, you just want to weight yourself, the body fat percentage option is just an added bonus that you might use every now and then.
These scales are high quality and provide accurate and detailed parameters for not just weight and fat distribution but bone mass and metabolic information. As a health practitioner I love them!!

I purchased this item online and was incredibly disappointed to have it arrive with the packaging in disarray and footprints already on the scales. Clearly it had been used and returned to the store at Indooroopilly, Qld before being posted to me. They didn’t even check inside the box to see one set of batteries was missing and the item wasn’t repackaged correctly. I complained via telephone and was told I’d receive a phone call after submitting an online complaint, which I did do but never received the phone call. I received an email response to my email which was laughable and almost insulting to my intelligence so I forwarded this into customer care via my MYER app but received no response at all. I selected this product based on a review in Choice magazine. I was not disappointed. It really does everything you need it to, is easy to use, accurate and helpful for weight monitoring.
