The Surface can be used in tablet mode, by removing the keyboard or in a traditional laptop mode with the keyboard. Unfortunately the Targus case does not accommodate switching between these modes. If you can live with this significant shortcoming it is a great protective case.

I sm very satisfied with the Targus case I bought GeForce my surface pro. It is durable and sound.
