Tarte Cosmetics Maracuja Juicy Shift Blush - Big Ego

I really love this cream blush. I'm really into all cream makeup products at this point because they just look so much more natural and are easier to work with. Especially cream bronzers and cream blush which I have purchased many. This blush is perfect to throw in your makeup bag and take on the go. The packaging is pretty and it comes with a mirror in the compact. The blush is one word. Juicy! It is so creamy, so sheer and the colors are so intense! Best cream blush I've ever used.

I bought this cream blush in the darkest shade, as at the time it was the only available colour. Knowing I could return the blush if I didn't like it was a factor. As I suspected, the blush looked super dark in the compact, but on the skin, the colour was a gorgeous natural rose. It looked dewy & made my skin look amazing. The accompanying brush is fabulous quality & made applying the blush a doddle. I just pressed the brush onto the blusher, using a light stippling motion, which meant I could pick up just the right amount. The colour is highly pigmented & you only need a light hand. It's easy to build the colour if you want to. I've a light skin, so a tiny amount was all I needed. Big Ego - great formula & color

I bought this a few weeks ago from QVC and it's beautiful. The formula is a soft gel/cream hybrid that applies and blends seamlessly over powder and bare skin. I prefer to use a synthetic stipple brush as it's quite pigmented but also buildable and doesn't set too quickly or emphasize texture. That said, once it does set, it lasts about 6 hrs before starting to fade, which is a good wear time for an emollient cream blush.Big Ego is a light bubblegum pink color with a strong cool undertone and a satiny/slightly shimmery, but not glittery, finish. It gives a healthy flush to my vampire pale skintone but doesn't have a strong white base so it could also work for those with medium, and possibly deep, skintones. Bought the lovely orchid shade for my Caucasian moderately fair complexion with dark brown hair and blue eyes. Fabulous value on QVC alongside the Tarte brushes . Glides onto Cheeks for a subtle flush of colour. Much prefer creme blushes these days and Tarte, for me, is the best . The coconut shade would no doubt suit me too.I wear with the maracuja juicy tint from the last TSV ( light neutral ) and the maracuja juicy lip and cremes. Love the no makeup look with these products from Tarte that just make you a better version of yourself . I seem to sometimes try other makeup brands but always return to Tarte. I am an avid wearer of liquid and cream blushes, pretty much own one from every brand: Rare Beauty, Juvia's Place, P. Louise, She Glam, Mac and on and on. But this one?? Im obsessed!! Blends so beautifully, so seamlessly, the color pay off is not a great as some of the other brands but im still giving it a 5 star rating bc of how smooth it is and how juicy it is.I purchased two colors: Rose and the bright pink one. They are both beautiful and the pink is very wearable, not at all scary despite how it looks in the pan!I want them to come out with more colors but im going to buy all the existing colors!

I purchased two of these from QVC as they launched before anyone else and it came with a brush. It was a steal, truthfully. I forget that QVC even exists, a lot. I ordered the honeysuckle and big ego. Two completely different shades. They swatched to perfection. They’re so smooth and a balmy texture. I was excited to try them for summer for a nice balmy type of blush and nothing heavy. However, I was so let down when I tried one shade on each cheek and after about an hour, they looked identical. I love the shades but with the PH formulation they all look the same after so long on your skin. Just be aware of this. If you like pink, you’ll be fine. But the honeysuckle ended up looking like a slightly deeper shade of the big ego. I am trying out the new Mario blushes instead and am hoping for a better outcome.

I can't believe how lucky I got to find Big Ego in my local Sephora store. I saw the tester on the shelf, and immediately fell in love with the vibrant pink shade. After rummaging around through the drawers, and the top part, I finally found the lucky last one squeezed into a spot that was tricky to see! This blush is so juicy on the cheeks and gives a beautiful dewy glow to the skin. I adore the texture, and like that you can build it up, or have a nice subtle amount on the cheeks also. I have tried it on my lips too, and the colour looks stunning, so if you have this blush already, I recommend trying that out.The packaging is cheerful, and overall I just adore using this product. Nice but not amazing.

While this is definitely pretty, and does what it claims to do, I was weirdly disappointed. Not for any other reason than my own imagination, I thought it was going to have a juicy smell. The Most Beautiful Blush!!

I purchased this blush on QVC when they presented it early and they came with a dual fiber brush , which was a great opportunity to get early and a free brush. But because I am a makeup crazed person , I got three sets. At that time , they did not have the red shade. So I got the Rose, Honeysuckle and Big Ego and I was very surprised that even though I am fair light in most foundations , that I could actually wear all three shades because they go on really sheer. They are made with a lot of fruit extracts, which make them feel super moist and balmy. They are The Most Gorgeous formula in a cream blush and makes you look very youthful and plump. I can see these working on all skin tones from the lightest to the darkest. I absolutely love these blushes!!

The apple of my eye!

Two of the tiniest dabs of Apple on my cheeks, with my pinkie, was all I needed for my light skin. It melts and spreads into a gorgeous natural flushed look. I will be using this all the time. Worth the price since a little goes a long way. I see it lasting forever. I believe it would flatter any skin tone. My only concern was with the store itself. The box they put into my bag was creased in a such a way that I knew it had been tampered with and you could see a finger print. For hygienic purposes, store employees should be careful and scan the box with their eyes at purchase time.
