I have never spent as much on foundation as I spent on this Face Tape, but I don't regret it in the least! I was using a tinted BB Cream, so I use about half a pump to get a bit lighter coverage apply with a damp makeup sponge. I've been using it for a couple months now haven't even used a quarter of the bottle. The coverage is great, it doesn't look cakey it blends well. I tried it with the face tape concealer (I wasn't as happy with that, though) now use a different concealer and it blends and wears very well either way. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I don't love the fragrance. Otherwise, I highly recommend will purchase again!

Everyone knows about the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. I dont know of many in the beauty space who dont or haven’t owned it at one time or another. So when Tarte came out with the Shape Tape Foundation, the excitement could be felt in the air. I couldn’t wait to try it! Girl, all your sins are covered! This is one full coverage boss foundation!! The color range is good and I had no problems finding my correct color and undertone. This is a pretty foundation, but keep in mind that a little goes a long way. If you are more mature, I recommend only wearing a light layer or you could get creasing. I am self admitted foundation hoarder, and this one stays in the rotation. It is very nice, once you get a hang of the amount you should wear.

I’d like to mention first and foremost that this is available in a full size (1.01 ounce) AND travel size (.33 ounce). I applaud 👏 any beauty company that provides this because it allows consumers to try their product before buying a full size! It’s very creamy but lightweight and it applies easily without caking or looking too heavy. A great foundation for "Beginners"

I am 25 and have done my makeuo for many years but I really never wear makeup. Everything breaks me out and I just don’t know the right techniques. I always feel more confident with a little makeup on though so I decided treat myself to a better higher quality foundation and I’m so happy I did! I used an elf primer and a wet n wild setting spray and it lasted all Thanksgiving afternoon and night. A little goes a LONG way. It does dry kind of fast though and I noticed it enhanced a dry patch I had on my chin from a breakout but not super noticeable. Covered my pores super well and didn’t break me out which is why I usually don’t ever wear foundation. Didn’t crease at all and the best part I didn’t even need setting powder! Color is lighter, Less is more

Overall not a bad foundation. Caveats: use far less than you think (which is a good value but a definite learning curve), color was matched by their online tool, lighter than expected (light medium beige) and I am more on the light to light medium side. I would recommend using a primer and a very good moisturizer. I used it today all day, grocery shopping, pickup for school, last swim in the pool for the season and it held up very well. I would be wary if someone had deep wrinkles and crinkles, I think it will look dry. Very good coverage. I would not recommend only because of the first few notes above, however I am keeping it for its staying power and coverage.

Settled into every line and wrinkle

I had been wanting to try this foundation for a long time. Bad choice for me. I followed the directions, using the lovely soft brush to apply the liquid foundation. At first, I thought - this has excellent coverage! And a coupe minutes later, when I looked in the makeup mirror, I saw that the foundation had settled into every line and wrinkle on my face - around my lips, on my forehead, around my eyes. It was just awful. Sadly, I loved the makeup brush and the lip color that came with the kit. Back it all goes. Very disappointing.

Truly Awful

I purchased two of the foundation shades towards the tan/darker end of the spectrum. Both of them in person are much lighter than they appeared, even with the online help using my laptop camera to match my skin. I tried them both anyway. They are both some of the worst foundations I have ever applied. They go on smooth, but somehow they settle cakey. They both have a very light undertone, so I looked like I've been embalmed in the face! This is nothing like what it looked like on the one model of deeper complexion in the presentation. The lip product was even worse. Made my lips feel like a science experiment, very uncomfortable tingle and odd sensation. The brush, however, is sensational, one of the best brushes I have ever used.
