Beautiful lashes and so easy to remove!

The formula does create longer, thicker lashes than the original. It goes on smooth and easy, dries quick, and lasts all day without flaking. And it does come off in tubes just like the viral videos show...it's so great how it comes off so easy without tugging, rubbing or creating raccoon eyes! It'll take some practice. Those who are saying it is clumpy, yes it definitely can be, but when I only had one coat, it was not as thick... However, one coat did not achieve the desired result (same with the other brand), and so I applied two. If you want quick & natural, go with the other tubing brand. If you want drama & have some time to adjust, go with Tartlette XL. They are both great.I wore the mascara for a total of 12 hours, 9am to 9pm. There was no smudging or flaking, no raccoon eyes, and my lashes stayed lifted and curled for the most part, which is pretty remarkable because as I'd mentioned, I have straight, thin lashes and did not curl them in order to test the true hold and lifting properties.Overall, I would have to say this is the best mascara on Sephora that I have found in the last 5 years or so. I used to be married to Lancome and Dior, but it seems as if their formula has changed and I have not been happy with any mascara for many years at this point, until this one and the second brand in the photo that I am comparing this to.

Crooked on the tips?

The best part about this mascara is it is pretty rub-resistant for girlies who struggle with hitting their brow bone. I still do get SOME rubbing, but nowhere near as bad as regular mascaras. My issue is that for me, I MUST use a lash curler, otherwise my eyelashes are like totally straight. I also find that this mascara really reduces the quantity of eyelashes I appear to have... it doesn't separate them very well, instead it clumps them together quite a lot. Finally, as you can see from my pics, the tips of my eyelashes are like.. crooked? It kinda reminds me of how it looks when people use those fillament mascaras or what have you... I do not know WHY it's causing my eyelashes to go absolutely bizzerk on the ends, but that's not an issue I have with other ... MoreThe best part about this mascara is it is pretty rub-resistant for girlies who struggle with hitting their brow bone. it took me a few weeks, but I've finally figured out this mascara. there is absolutely a learning curve.you MUST warm the mascara before application for best results. I put the tube between my thighs or boobs while I do my face make-up.once warmed - hold the wand steady and blink your eyelashes over the wand. I start at the ends and work my way down to the middle of the lash length. You want to use as little product as you can to keep them from clumping and falling. MASCARA FOR LAZY MAKEUP WEARERS

As someone who HATES waterproof mascara and doesn't like the grip it has on my lashes, not to mention the whole process of removing it, I have switched over to tubing mascaras. I was very impressed with the way the formula and brush held my lashes up without having to use so many coats. Formula was not thick at all, not too wet, but the perfect texture to coat around lashes. I had a tiny bit of flaking which doesn't bother me. That is a normal reoccurrence with mascara. I also deal with medium length, straight, and sparse lashes. Everything I have tried is either too wet, clumpy, too big of a brush, not enough volume, etc. I was very impressed with this mascara and it's ability to give me what I need. Plus, you get an easy removal. Who wouldn't want that. Best Tip I can give to y'all is, go through one coat, wait at least 45 seconds for it to dry down a bit but not fully dry and go back and recoat, and then BAM, you've got lashes. :)

I still struggle with getting mascara on my eyelids when applying to my lashes due to the spool. for best application, you must WARM the mascara. I usually put it in-between my boobs while I do my other make up. Sounds silly, but the mascara glides on easier once it is warmed and has a finer finish that fans the lashes vs clumping. I do not find a second coat to be necessary. if you like to separate your lashes after applying mascara you must do it quickly with this one.this mascara is definitely lengthening, and it does hold a curl a little bit better than other mascaras I've worn in the past, but throughout the day the curl will fall over time. For max length apply a second coat but this can be tricky. You've got to wait until coat one is tacky before you apply coat 2. if you apply too soon, you won't see much lengthening. if you apply too late, it'll just make your lashes clumpy.I would certainly buy this again.

I, like some others said, am shocked at the bad reviews. From those reviews it appears some are doing numerous coats. This mascara is the best I have found for my lashes and I have tried tons. I have longish but on the thinner side these days lashes. They get slightly unruly. I can curl my lashes and give them one quick coat with this and they are picture perfect. I might dab on little light coat to any missed spots and then I am done. I have been asked what mascara I use since I switched to this. That's unusual my age lol. Also if you have sensitive allergy eyes like I do, this fuesnt skear ir get in eyes and I just remove with very warm water on cotton pads in an instant. I was underwhelmed with this variation of the tartelette tubing mascara. I’m a ride or die for the original formula and so when I saw this I was so excited to try it. I love the volume from the original and I was hoping this was just going to be a more length focused version. I honestly didn’t even get that far. I noticed that unlike the original that the XL was really really thin. Then when I tried to wave the wand around and dry it out a little upon application I found that it didn’t build on itself very well at all. I love and prefer tubing mascara but this reminded me more of Milani’s tubing mascara rather than the tartelette line. I’m going to finish my tube, it’s not terrible hence the 3 stars, it doesn’t flake and the dry time is good, better than milani. ... MoreI was underwhelmed with this variation of the tartelette tubing mascara.
