Very compact and light. Fits in back or side pocket. Case had belt loop. Clarity and ease of focus good for sightseeing, navigating, or general distance perception out 100-400 yards. Would not recommend for tracking fast moving objects like birds or planes. Quality as good as other devices costing 2-3 times more.

They only focus one eye at a time. Neither side is in focus at the same time. We exchanged twice and the same thing each time. My daughter still loves them, is under 10, but I’m dissatisfied in the quality and operation.

For $15 how can you go wrong. I use for layering season bow hunting. Just to ID different deer. Does the job. Binoculars don't shoot deer, so I get the info I need with these. I'm sure they won't last forever, but I'll get my $15 worth our of them. I hunt in wooded areas so don't need anything more.

Really a very good pair of binoculars for 10 lousy bucks. Contrast could be better, and as well as resolution, but to do a lot better you’d have to spend ten times as much. And it wouldn’t fit in your pocket either. I went online into Walmart for it and I had it the next day, delivered to my door. You can’t beat that with a stick.
I have not used these actual binocs, but owned an identical type a few years ago, and I can assure you they were junk. The optics may have been adequate, but the field of view was too small and the hinges holding the barrels became loose in a few months, which made the binocs very aggravating to use. My opinion: avoid this type of design, and spend a bit more money and get a better pair.
I asked for blue but got black. That being said, I've had a pair of Sears binocs that my late brother gave to me years ago. They are 10X50 and really big. Given the fact that airlines keep harassing us about luggage, I wanted to keep that pair at home so I ordered these. Just looking out my window I can tell how good these are. They are pretty comparable to the Sears brand, which I am very happy with. While they seem to be maybe a little less than 10 (but not by much at all) they will be fine out in the southwest. And they take up no room and are a few times lighter than the Sears pair. I think these will be just fine.
The old saying of you get what you pay for applies here...after reading a few reviews, which all seemed to be glowing, I thought I'd given these a go. They're ok over shorter distances and in clear conditions but as soon as you look further or use them in poorer conditions they seem pretty poor. At distance you begin to get a kind of light help around the image, in damp conditions they become useless pretty quickly....I use them when I'm fishing and they're ok for that but no more than ok, they're lightweight and small so fit easily into my bag when travelling light. Overall you get what you pay for and these are pretty cheap, save up your money until you can buy a better pair..!! Be lucky...
Brought these for a gift for my wife. She loves the compact size and easily fits in the glove box of her car without taking up all the room. The focus is easy to use. Great pair of binoculars for the price. Very happy.
I like that these have the ability to view something that is only 6 feet away. I read meters for a utility company and sometimes it is easier to read the meter over a fence because there is Dos in the yard or it saves me from having to walk around the whole house. I prefer the 10x power over the 8x just because sometime I need to read something that is 40 feet away.I buy these when they are on sale because as much as they make my job easier they do not last. All it takes is one accidental drop, even in the case, and chances are something on the inside lets go and now they are useless. I tried more expensive units before but it is just not worth the risk.
