I have an older model of the Nova in F2 and it is my absolute favourite gi with the perfect fit. I would use it as competition gi if the colour wasn't navy.Sadly, Tatami must have changed the sizing and the F2 comes out of the packet with a perfect fit - meaning that with a 8-9% shrinkage it will be far too short on arms and legs. It's too much of a gamble to upsize and hope for the optimal shrinkage.Had to return the one Gi I though would always fit.

I'm just under 5'3, an athletic 137lbs (62kg) and I got the F3. Fits great with room to shrink in the wash (if it does). I was worried the F2 would be a bit tight in the bum or shoulders so I sized up and it was a good decision. Really happy with my purchase and can't wait to start my BJJ journey with this product!!

Bought an F2 for a 153cm, 50kg. Pants length fits perfectly. Sleeve length a little long but I’m sure will fit perfectly after washing. Gi is lightweight

Thanks to Covid I still haven't been able to take this beauty to the mat, but I can't wait to try it out.The colour is lovely, so nice I'd love to buy a pair of just trousers to wear leisurely, and the fit is great. I got the F2, and was ever so slightly worried that it would be tight around my thighs, but they fit very well. This might change when I take it to the mat, but it seems to be very right. The material is solid, yet lightweight. I also like that it has a toned down look.So, Tatami, sell the khaki trousers individually too, please!
Really happy with my first Gi, it’s really nice quality and looks good too. Great to have the option of womens sizes as it’s seems quite hard to find elsewhere! I did find the sizing a bit of a minefield and it took me a while to decide which side to get, but thankfully picked the right one!
The Nova Absolute is absolutely the best gi I got so far. The fabric is amazing. It’s very flexible and strong and comfortable at the same time. I’m 1.55 m (5.1feet) and 60kg and got a F3. I used to get a size smaller but even if I hang dry it and pay very attention to how I wash it, it still shrunk a bit too much with the time. This F3 is perfect and it’s gonna fit even more perfectly when it shrinks those 3 or more cms! I always get tatami gis as quality and aesthetics are absolutely my favorite. If you take care of tatami products they are never gonna disappoint you! Unfortunately shipping costs got higher lately as I used to pay 10€ for shipping costs just some months ago and now it was 15€ so that was very disappointing and to have to pay 15€ more when I’m ... I saw this gi on the site months ago and I fell in love with it! I had to have it, but it was pretty expensive for me at the time, so when I noticed they put it on sale I didn't wait and I bought it instantly! I consulted the size chart before purchasing because this gi had a different size chart than my last tatami one, and I can surely say that the chart is 100% precise and reliable, and the product is high quality, very well made, very resistant but also extremely comfortable! This is my favorite gi, I knew it from the beginning. Love at first sight doesn't lie :shrug:€ :female_sign: Can't wait to get on the mat again with this new gi!!
Great fit and medium-weight material for autumn through spring warmth. I am 6'2, 47 chest, 109 kgs and take a XXL. Sleeve length is spot-on for orangutans like me and the body length sees the waist band sit nicely at the belt line. Hood is nice and deep with quality cord and flugelbinders.I am usually disappointed by Tatami T-shirt sizing and how they shrink from XXL to a L after one wash, even at 30•C! THIS hoodie however is fantastic and also supports the REORG charity.Great product - will deffo buy another one when restocked. 5* from me.
This is my first time purchasing a gi or Just anything in this site so here’s my review :I received it within the estimated date, it’s a very good quality gi, and it came with a white belt which is a plus since I didn’t have to buy one.So far, I’ve worn it 2 times and rolled with my partners with it, and I’m not disappointed as I find it very comfortable and light. Also, that means I’ve washed it 2 times and it didn’t get smaller.For reference I purchased F2, I’m 161~ 162 cm (probably around 5”3) and 48~49 kg (105~108 lbs).Personally I found the pants a bit small, they are above my ankles, and that would be my only negative point. Because the first time I wore it when it came, it fitted just perfectly, and I was scared that after washing it many times it would ... i bought this same Gi probably previous generation.. I bought my second Nova, according to the chart I am an F3; however, the jacket is long. The other nova I have, shrunk and the jacket fits so nicely.. This new nova generation it barely shrank and it stayed big.. it doesn't look like an F3 at all. The string of the pants change too.. I like the previous string too.I am disappointed because I was hoping it fit just like my previous NOVA. :(
